"We used the Kansai Area Pass (3-Day) for our trip, and it was incredibly convenient and offered amazing value for money! The redemption process was super easy—we just took our e-voucher to the JR West ticket machines in front of Kyoto Station, scanned our passports, and the machine printed our main pass along with vouchers to exchange for Kyoto Subway and 2 other private railway day passes (which are awesome free bonuses included with this pass!). We fully utilized this pass over the 3 days with a fantastic itinerary: Day 1: Traveled around the beautiful Lake Biwa area. Day 2: Explored Kyoto using the complimentary private railway/subway passes, then took a limited express train to Shin-Osaka where we stayed. Day 3: Traveled out to Rokkomichi Station in Kobe to ride the Rokko Cable and enjoy the stunning night view of Kobe Bay (note: the cable car ticket itself is purchased separately). Finally, we used the pass to reserve seats on the Haruka to Kansai International Airport.
easy to redeem. you should have this if you will use the train frequently and go farthest part of kansai, you can use jr haruka with this one too and reserve seat. i use this from airport to osaka,himeji, kobe, kyoto, arashiyama & nara. If you have time, you can skip joining these tour for 1 day and freely explore on your own for 3days using this pass.
Value and convenient! The price of this ticket is just a round trip between Osaka city and KIX airport by Haruka train, but it also allows you to travel on any other regular JR service in four days! You can get to Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, Wakayama. it is just of great value.
was easy to redeem and super convenient for a party of three. We used it to travel from Kyoto to Osaka, Kobe, and Himeji, and it made getting around stress-free. Definitely worth it if you’re planning to visit multiple cities in the Kansai area.
very good price JR region pass that we can catch All High speed trains between Shin-Osaka and Okayama with free reserved seats. moreover we can travel to Takamatsu , Amanohashidate and Kinosakionsen within 5 days.
If you come to Osaka and wish to travel to other areas like Nara, Kyoto, etc... then this pass is a Must. We cover Nara, Kyoto, Kobe and even Wakayama for about 1 hour plus ride, it's fun and relaxing. It's worth the price. Thank You.
Easy to book. Claimed the tickets via the JR station versus the machine which made it much easier for us. Was also able to claim 2 out of the 3 kyoto passes. Wasn't able to use them but good to have. Used Navitime app to maximise the JR pass which helped a lot.

Bullet trains in Japan are on next level. even at top speed there is hardly any movement inside the train. it's so convenient to travel in Shinkasen trains. on your first travel, try experiencing green car (first class). it's worth the price
worth it if you are travelling on the day to arashiyama forest and day trip around kyoto and come back to osaka after. the only downside is you have to exchange few ticket at few station which make it a bit of a problem due to they close around 7pm. but that is jr west problem not klook
