হাতিদের এত কাছ থেকে এবং তাদের মাহুতের সার্বিক তত্ত্বাবধানে স্বাধীনভাবে বিচরণ করতে দেখাটা দারুণ ছিল। এখানে হাতিদের স্পর্শ করার কোনো সুযোগ ছিল না, যা নিয়ে আমি চিন্তিত ছিলাম যে আমরা তাদের কতটা কাছে যেতে পারব। আমার চিন্তা করার দরকার ছিল না, আমি হাতিদের প্রতি সম্মান বজায় রেখে ভ্রমণ থেকে যা চেয়েছিলাম তার সবকিছুই পেয়েছি।

An absolutely magical experience - a day of learning about the incredibly intelligent and sensitive elephants, and how these wonderful workers have created a sanctuary for these elderly and disabled elephants that can finally retire in this paradise. You get to come close and personal with the elephants, while respecting them and allowing them to live in their natural habitat. Highly recommend coming here as Phuket Elephant Sanctuary are the pioneers of ethical sanctuary’s in Phuket.

I visited with my grandparents (older travelers) and this was a really accessible experience where the guides were really friendly and the elephants were free to roam! The carers of the elephants followed the elephant and not the other way around, it was amazing to see them play. The highlight for me was the elephant hospital, and getting to meet the veterinarian who was caring for a sick elephant of old age. Its amazing what they are doing for the elephant species as a whole in phuket, the site is really peaceful too and the food was excellent!

this was such a great experience. learnt a lot about elephants as well as the reasons they’ve “retired” in this forever home. we could feed them (at a distance) and also get a closer look at them in the forest. the guide was very knowledgable and friendly - making the tour more fun! the lunch was alright, nothing too amazing. I chose the hotel pick up and they were on time too.

I had an amazing experience visiting the elephant sanctuary. It is a very well-managed place that truly cares for the elephants and ensures their well-being. Unlike some other places, they do not exploit or harm the animals in any way. The sanctuary focuses on providing a safe and natural environment for the elephants, allowing them to live peacefully. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, sharing valuable insights about the elephants and their conservation efforts. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend visiting for anyone who wants to see these incredible animals being treated with kindness and respect.

The most amazing experience at this beautiful Sanctuary for rescued elephants! Our tour guide Tour was so lovely, knowledgeable and funny. We really loved our time here and so thrilled that such a place exists to help our elephant friends. We will definitely be back, and will be telling our friends and family to visit here for sure.

absolutely stunning place for the Elephants that are too old or too sick to take care of themselves. massive educational peice about alit of misconception of what is good for the Elephants. I learnt that it's not Humane to wash or ride Elephants. infact, if they want your attention, they'll come to you. I will be spreading your message to those back home. thankyou for an amazing morning and the time you give to one of our declining mammals.

A great experience - we were up close and personal with the elephants at this sanctuary! The tour was in English and our guide shared with us her personal journey that brought her to this sanctuary. She knew every elephant by name and told us of their (sad) history. Had a great time feeding the elephants as well. Glad these elephants spend their remaining days being cared for in this wonderful environment.

অসাধারণ! সেরা দিন ছিল! চলে আসতে ইচ্ছে করছিল না! এটি একটি সুন্দর অভিজ্ঞতা ছিল এবং আমরা এটি করতে পেরে খুব আনন্দিত! আমাদের টিকিটের সাথে অভয়ারণ্যে যাতায়াতের জন্য খুব আরামদায়ক পরিবহনের ব্যবস্থা ছিল। শুরুতে রিফ্রেশমেন্ট এবং স্ন্যাকস এবং শেষে দুপুরের খাবার সরবরাহ করা হয়েছিল যা খুব ভালো ছিল! আমাদের গাইড থমাস অসাধারণ ছিলেন এবং হাতি সম্পর্কে খুব জ্ঞানী ছিলেন। হাতিগুলো ছিল অসাধারণ এবং তাদের এত কাছাকাছি থাকতে পারাটা ছিল খুবই বিশেষ। এটিই একমাত্র পার্ক ছিল যেখানে আমি দেখেছি যে আপনি হাতিদের শারীরিকভাবে স্পর্শ করতে পারবেন না, যা আমি ঠিক চেয়েছিলাম এবং যখন আপনি হাতিদের গল্প শুনবেন, তখন আমি খুব আনন্দিত যে আমি এই অভিজ্ঞতাটি বেছে নিয়েছি। হাতিদের সাথে একটি আশ্চর্যজনক সুন্দর অভিজ্ঞতা পেতে আপনাকে তাদের খাওয়ানো বা আদর করার প্রয়োজন নেই। অত্যন্ত প্রস্তাবিত অভিজ্ঞতা এবং আমি পরের বার যখন ফুকেট যাবো তখন আবার যাবো!

Für mich war es der schönste Ausflug seit langem! Mir persönlich war es sehr wichtig einen aus meiner Sicht ethisch vertretbaren Ort zu besuchen. Nach dem kurzen Einführungsfilm war ich mir sicher, dass es die richtige Entscheidung war diesen Ort zu wählen. Die Elefanten bewegen sich hier frei und machen worauf sie gerade Lust haben. Jeder der Elefanten dort hat eine persönliche Geschichte und mein Guide Ice Cream hat alles toll und verständlich erklärt. Sie hat sich auch viel Zeit genommen, so dass alle Teilnehmer ausreichend Fotos/Selfies machen konnten. Es gab außerdem ein sehr leckeres Buffet (vegetarisch, wie die Elefanten) und man konnte während des Essens auch die Elefanten beobachten. Die Zeit hat insgesamt vollkommen ausgereicht und auch wenn es teurer ist (um unter anderen Futter und medizinische Versorgung im angrenzenden Elefantenkrankenhaus zu gewährleisten), bin ich mit gutem Gewissen und wunderbaren Erinnerungen nach Hause gefahren.
