There are a variety of options provided as upgrades if you want, so just be prepared for that. using a Japanese coin is an upgrade but there are a variety of country’s coins to choose from. Some coins are better suited for larger ring sizes. I choose the non-upgraded version and was still very happy with the outcome. My facilitator hector was very pleasant and made the experience fun.

Came here with my sister and nephew to turn old coins into rings. Good news: we left with rings. Even better news: we left with the same number of fingers we arrived with. This workshop was one of the highlights of our time in Asakusa. It’s oddly satisfying watching an old coin slowly become something you’d happily wear every day. You get to heat it, expand it, shape it, and polish it yourself. The hydraulic press also makes you feel far more qualified than you actually are. A massive thank you to Lydia, who made the whole experience so enjoyable. She was patient, encouraging, and explained everything clearly while giving us just enough freedom to feel like we were doing the work ourselves. Somehow, she also managed to stop us from making any expensive mistakes without making it obvious. Now every time I look at my ring, I get to say, “Thanks, I made it.” I just conveniently leave out the part where Lydia made sure I didn’t accidentally turn it into modern art.

This shop is a lovely place ! I highly recommend coming here with you’re family or friends or alone everyone is welcoming and friendly and I highly recommend doing the ring making !

A really great experience! Lots of coins to choose from to personalise your ring, and making it yourself makes it more special. My instructor Naila was really helpful and all the staff were very friendly. Great activity to get out of the rain or heat too, right in the heart of Asakusa so close to other tourist attractions.

This is the perfect way to make a memory and to create a unique souvenir of your trip to Japan. Fatima was fantastic and very helpful as she walked us through the entire experience step by step. I highly recommend coming here if you want to have bothe an experience and a beautiful piece to help you remember your trip.

This was such a fun experience! There are coins to choose from from many different countries. The whole process is easy to follow and really enjoyable. Sowa was an amazing instructor! Definitely something I'd love to try again!

Although we arrived 20 minutes late (we got lost a couple of times), they still accommodated us. We were given a thorough explanation about the Japanese coin eras, as we paid extra to have those made. Our Ringsmith Chanel was attentive and answered our questions with great confidence. She seems to know a great deal. Overall, we enjoyed our time, had fun making our rings and would definitely recommend this activity to others!

GREAT experience. Everything was well explained to me and I was guided and supported throughout the whole process. I loved my instructor Elif she was the sweetest person and a great support. We also chatted A LOT (I love talking to people) and she is a very interesting person. I’d highly recommend ring making to anyone as it’s great though be aware that there are extra charges for different coins that are not included in your package.

My family and I had a great experience here. 4 of us made our rings out of coins here and they turned out great. Hector and Yuka helped us and they were both very knowledgeable. Yuka went through the steps with me and my son, and she was very thorough. Our rings turned out so cute! I definitely recommend
