itinerary: 10/10 — enjoyed it up until the very end. everything was clearly briefed and timing was well kept. • attractions on the way: 9/10— visited a number of beautiful beaches, it would’ve been perfect if there were some engaging activities in between on our way to the Pinnacles. nevertheless, views were breathtaking and enjoyable! • group size: 9/10 — there were roughly 26 people during the tour, it was an ideal group size for me, though we did have to squeeze in between our seats • guide: 10/10 — our guide was hardworking, friendly and sweet! she kept the energy consistent and was also inclusive in terms of providing vegetarian / halal meals for muslim tourists! also shared alot of her knowledge on the beaches and deserts we visited!

This day tour covered three major highlights: Moore River, the Pinnacles Desert, and stargazing. Although we encountered cloudy skies and drizzle, the spectacular, riddle-like landscape of the Pinnacles was still absolutely breathtaking. Having an outdoor picnic in the evening was a very unique experience. I’m also incredibly grateful to our professional tour guide, who enthusiastically shared her knowledge of astronomy despite the overcast weather. We had initially decided to head back early due to the poor weather. To our surprise, less than an hour into the drive, the guide noticed the clouds breaking up and pulled over immediately. The moment we stepped out and looked up, the starry sky miraculously revealed itself. It was a deeply stunning and moving moment that brought our journey to a perfect conclusion.

We would like to commend our tour guide, Mel (apologies if we have her name wrong), who led the Autopia Pinnacles tour on 7 July 2026. She was professional, knowledgeable, and exceptionally well organised. Not only did she safely drive the group for the 2–3-hour journey each way, but she also prepared a delicious picnic dinner, set up the telescope for stargazing, and shared an engaging introduction to astronomy while we admired the spectacular night sky. We also appreciated her warm hospitality and the personal recommendations she shared about places to visit in Perth. That said, at almost AUD 190 per person, the tour is relatively expensive, with the stargazing experience at the Pinnacles being the main highlight. Sadly, there wasn’t much to see at Guilderton and Nilgen Lookout, it was more of a rest stop for guests and driver. We also felt that a hot or warm meal would have been more suitable than a cold picnic dinner, particularly during winter.

ভ্রমণটি খুব ভালোভাবে পরিকল্পনা করা হয়েছিল এবং সুচারুভাবে সম্পন্ন হয়েছিল! আমরা যে স্থানগুলো পরিদর্শন করেছি সে সম্পর্কে অনেক ব্যাখ্যা দেওয়া হয়েছিল। রাতের খাবার একটি নতুন অভিজ্ঞতা ছিল এবং রাতে তারাদের দেখা ছিল অসাধারণ। আমাদের মহিলা গাইডকে (আমি নামটি ভুলে গেছি তবে তিনি নিউজিল্যান্ডের ছিলেন) তার আতিথেয়তা এবং জ্ঞান ভাগ করে নেওয়ার জন্য ধন্যবাদ।

our guide Erin was a great guide and highly knowledgeable about the land, history of the region along with a expert astronomy guide. and the picnic spread and telescope was well organized. I would recommend this tour for anyone keen on a outdoor desert tour with a stargazing finale.

one of the best tours i took in WA. I enjoyed the Pinnacle and stargazing as the highlight of the tour. I highly recommend you taking this tour! 😉 attractions on the way: breath taking views of indian ocean itinerary: could skip the place where it looks a barren area due to bush fire guide: very knowledgeable about what’s up there in the sky.

খুব ভালো ভ্রমণ ছিল, পিনাকলটা খুব ভালো লেগেছে... রাতে আমরা খাবার উপভোগ করেছি এবং ট্যুর গাইড আমাদের নক্ষত্র ও রাশিচক্র সম্পর্কে ব্যাখ্যা করেছেন... আকাশটা খুব সুন্দর ছিল... যাইহোক, আমি ট্যুর গাইডের নাম ভুলে গেছি কিন্তু আমার বাস ছিল 718 (17.2.26)... তিনি খুব ভালো এবং সুন্দরী ছিলেন, ধন্যবাদ।

I like the in-between stops at Guilderton and another spot to quickly see some native wild plants, before going to the Pinnacles. Guilderton is a small town built around the Moore River estuary and some nice viewing spots of the Indian Ocean. Pinnacles tour was nice , we had an 1 hr plus to walk around by ourselves, while Kasper prepared dinner for us. Dinner is more like picnic food but good enough. Jasper provided good commentary along the way about history, industry, ecology etc, and is friendly and approachable. The bus had around 20 pax, so it is a good size, not too big. The day we went was abit cloudy but cleared up in bits so we could still see quite alot of stars and a faint Milky Way. There was a blood moon on the way back as well.

We had a great experience in this trip ! Erin, our guide and driver was cheerful and friendly. She shared some of her knowledge in astronomy during the stargazing session. Indeed, we had a enjoyable time.
