Our guide Alan made this Stonehenge day trip so much more than just “look at some rocks”. On the drive from London he explained the history, the solstice alignments, the Salisbury Plain landscape, and gave loads of practical UK travel tips you won’t find in any guidebook. He drives very safely (big plus on those narrow country roads!), and the whole itinerary was perfectly paced — enough time at Stonehenge to actually take it in, plus photo stops without feeling rushed. Pickup was smooth, the audio guide made sense after Alan’s intro, and the whole day just flowed. Easily one of my favourite day trips. Thank you Alan!
