Honestly one of the best decisions we could have made! Someone was waiting for us as soon as we exited the airport. The guides were very friendly and hospitality. The bus journey took about 1.5 hours to get to the port. We skipped the queues and went straight to the boat. Afterwards, we were transfered in a van to the hotel. The process would have been very confusing and overwhelming without their guidance. Overall, I would highly recommend using Island Star Express. Definite value for money.

Very smooth process and they send you an SMS to remind and update on the pick up times and guide you from the airport to the boat transfer then to the van/coaster going to the airport. All in all took around 2.5 hours. We also requested for a change in pick up time which was granted.

Going back home from the island is no longer chaotic with the presence of island star transfer services especially if your return airport is in Kalibo. They will inform you of pickup time and the travel duration is just enough before boarding. Our accommodation was inside a compound from the front beach so there was a need to walk it through, but the assistant was so helpful to carry our luggages up to the main road, helping us our way to the boat, and then to the van finally going to the airport.
