Opening on 12 March 2025, this first-of-its-kind adventure-based zoological park spans 13 hectares within Mandai Wildlife Reserve, bringing the magic of Southeast Asia’s rainforests right to Singapore.

Unlike traditional zoos, Rainforest Wild ASIA is designed for exploration. Across 8 immersive zones, you’ll wander through towering karst formations, navigate cavern chambers, and encounter animals in open-concept habitats that mirror their natural homes.
With the introduction of flexible habitats, different species will rotate throughout the day, meaning every visit offers a new experience. And with 36 incredible species — including new-to-Singapore residents like the François' langur and the Philippine spotted deer — there’s plenty to discover!

1) Entrance Gorge
Your adventure at Rainforest Wild ASIA begins the moment you step into the Entrance Gorge — a beautifully designed space that seamlessly transports you right into the heart of the rainforest.
Towering emergent trees mimic the edge of a real jungle, giving you the feeling of being right at nature’s doorstep. Before venturing deeper, take a moment at the habitat pond, home to fascinating freshwater species like the Asian arowana and Southern river terrapin.

2) The Karsts
Just beyond the Entrance Gorge, you’ll find yourself in The Karsts, a stunning open-concept habitat where jagged limestone formations rise through the rainforest canopy.
This rugged landscape is home to the François' langur, an agile and rare primate known for its impressive leaps and effortless tree-to-tree navigation.
You can watch these fascinating creatures in action from the Karst Lookout viewing platform, or for a more immersive experience, take the Karst Loop Trek, where you’ll navigate forest trails, cross boulders and logs over a stream, and trek through towering roots.

3) Forest Floor
Step into the Forest Floor, where the rainforest comes alive beneath your feet. As you descend deeper into this nutrient-rich world, you’ll navigate fallen trees, climb over logs, and step across boulders — almost like a scene from Jumanji.
Keep your eyes peeled for free-roaming mousedeer or grazing hog deer! This lush habitat is also home to axis deer, elongated tortoises, and Asian brown tortoises, all thriving in the hidden corners of the forest.
For those who love adventure, take the Root Hollow Trek, where you’ll climb through a root tunnel, or explore the Forest Floor Trek, featuring a preserved heritage staircase leading toward Rock Cascade.
But don’t worry if you prefer a smoother journey — regular walkways that are wheelchair-accessible ensure that everyone can experience the magic of the rainforest at their own pace.

4) The Outpost

After an exciting start to your Rainforest Wild ASIA adventure, The Outpost is the perfect place to relax and recharge.
Grab a quick bite and a refreshing drink at Rangers Café, where you can rest your feet before heading deeper into the park. But The Outpost isn’t just a pit stop — it’s also home to the park’s camping ground, where adventurers can spend the night under the stars in one of 20 dome tents.
5) Rock Cascade
As you journey beyond the Forest Floor, the landscape transforms yet again at Rock Cascade! Towering trees and lush bamboo groves set the stage for one of the park’s most exciting encounters — the Malayan tiger.
Follow the elevated walkway as it winds through the rainforest, offering incredible views of this apex predator as it prowls through tunnels, scales rocky formations, and navigates cascading waterfalls to reach its lookout point.
Klook Tip: For an even closer view of the Malayan tiger, cross the root bridge deeper into the habitat. You might just spot the tiger perched on the rocks!
But the thrill doesn’t stop there! Rock Cascade is also home to two of the park’s three flexible habitats, where species like the red dhole, bearded pig, and babirusa rotate throughout the day. These dynamic enclosures allow visitors to observe the natural behaviors of both predator and prey, making every visit a little different.

6) The Canopy

Ever wondered what life is like high up in the treetops? The Canopy takes you right into the heart of the rainforest’s upper layers, where thick foliage creates a thriving habitat for arboreal wildlife.
Look out for Javan langurs, red-shanked douc langurs, and siamangs swinging effortlessly between branches!
For a truly immersive experience, step onto the Langur Walking Nets — suspended 180 square meters above the ground, this exhilarating walkway lets you move through the trees just like the primates themselves!
Don’t forget to glance down — hidden among the undergrowth, you might just spot the elusive Philippine spotted deer.
For those craving even more adventure, the Wild Apex Adventure includes an exclusive elevated bridge crossing to the Langur Observation Deck, offering an unparalleled view of these agile primates in action.

7) Watering Hole

Step into Rainforest Wild ASIA’s largest zone, the Watering Hole, where water shapes life in the rainforest. As you wander along the meandering elevated walkways, keep an eye out for the Malayan tapir roaming below or the Malayan sun bear skillfully foraging among the trees.
This zone is also home to the third flexible habitat, where species like the babirusa, bearded pig, and red dhole rotate throughout the day, ensuring that every visit offers a new encounter.

One of the highlights? Crossing the suspended bridges over the crocodile pond, where the mighty estuarine crocodile lurks beneath the surface.

8) The Cavern
Your Rainforest Wild ASIA adventure culminates in The Cavern, a breathtaking 220-meter-long underground wonder inspired by the legendary Mulu Caves in Sarawak, Malaysia.
As you step inside, you’ll be surrounded by towering rock formations, intricate chambers, and an ethereal glow from the Oculus — a natural skylight that filters sunlight into the darkness below, creating the perfect photo spot.
Navigate through the subterranean walkways for a smooth and scenic route, or for the more daring, take the side paths where you might encounter fascinating cave-dwelling creatures like the blind cave fish, cave racer snake, and fluorescent Asian black scorpion.
For those craving a true caving adventure, the Wild Cavern Adventure lets you abseil into the depths of the caves, squeezing through tunnels and traversing rocky terrain for an experience straight out of an explorer’s dream. Want to uncover the secrets of these mysterious underground creatures?

For thrill-seekers looking to take their adventure to the next level, the Wild Apex Adventure is an experience you won’t want to miss!
This aerial challenge begins at The Karsts, where you’ll strap in and tackle the via ferrata path, scaling up to 20 meters high. Along the way, you’ll climb metal rungs, cross ladders, and brave suspended bridges, all while soaking in breathtaking views of Mandai Wildlife Reserve and Langur Island below.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there! Your journey continues with a hike to The Canopy, where you’ll traverse suspended planks, 9 meters above the ground, leading to the Langur Observation Deck. Rainforest Wild ASIA is located at 20 Mandai Lake Road, Singapore 729825. It's open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM — with the last admission into the park at 5 PM.
Getting to Rainforest Wild ASIA
Reaching Rainforest Wild ASIA is easy, whether you're taking public transport or a cab. If you’re traveling by MRT, alight at any of these stations:

Alternatively, take the Mandai City Express which has pickup points available around the city — stopping at Orchard Hotel, Suntec Hub, and more! The Mandai City Express operates from Thursdays to Sundays, with one-way tickets at S$8 and round trip tickets at S$16.
