    Get ready to feel nostalgic!

    POKÉMON trainers, get ready to celebrate Christmas and Chinese New Year with PIKACHU! Malaysia’s first ever POKÉMON festival will be happening in Genting from December until February 2019.
    Genting POKÉMON Festival
    Date: 1st December 2018 – 28th February 2019
    Location: SkyAvenue, Genting Highlands
    There will be a few activities and performances for you to hone your POKÉMON training skills during the festival. POKÉMON fans can expect to see all of the iconic ones such as Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff and more.
    Keep reading to find out what you can expect at the exciting POKÉMON Festival!

    1. Seek and Snap!

    Be the very best and try to CATCH ‘EM ALL! Get your Poké Balls ready and “catch” 32 first generation POKÉMON figurines. They will be scattered around SkyAvenue and will be released in batches. Snap pictures of your favourite POKÉMON before they run!

    2. Christmas Tree

    Imagine a Christmas tree filled with POKÉMON! You can spot the tallest POKÉMON Christmas tree in Skytropolis Funland. When you’re there, try and count how many POKÉMON are on the tree.

    3. Pikachu Parade & Dance

    Catch PIKACHU live in Malaysia where there would be a total of 8 PIKACHUS lined up in a parade to perform a PIKACHU dance. Now that’s a sight not to be missed!

    4. Trainer Program

    Join the Trainer Program and complete the missions to win yourself some limited-edition POKÉMON stickers! Look out for the pop-up store and find out how you can win join the missions.  

    5. Pikachu Land

    There will be 50 small PIKACHU plushies surrounding a massive 6-meter tall inflatable PIKACHU in Skytropolis. So, that’s definitely insta-worthy! Besides, there’s no such thing as too many PIKACHU.

    6. Pokémon Merchandise

    For those with a full-blown POKÉMON fever, you can also take a piece of it back with you. Bring home original POKÉMON merchandise all the way from Japan’s Pokémon Store! They will be available at the pop-up store in SkyAvenue, Level 3.
