    1. Sleep with the fishes at Jules Undersea Lodge (Florida, USA)

It might be unheard of but it sure is America’s only underwater accommodation. Originally a marine sea research lab in the 1970s, it has since been converted into a lodge for marine enthusiast. Are you ready to spend a night with fishes, surrounded by nothing else but the depths of the ocean?
They offer a range of lodging options – decide on a short 3-hour stay to that of a couple of days with rates from US$150 onwards. The only way to the undersea lodge is a 9-metre dive, hence you’ll be required to show some sort of diving certification, otherwise, you may sign up for Jules’s very own SCUBA Diving Program.
Worried about your meals? That’s a totally unnecessary because Jules Undersea Lodge offers the legendary, world-famous underwater pizza delivery! If you’re wondering, he encloses it in a secured water-tight briefcase before diving into the waters to serve you a hot (and dry) pizza.

Try not to tell us this isn’t one of the coolest things you’ve seen? (pun intended)
Truly experience the winter in Sweden staying in a room entirely made of ice! Beds are made of a block of ice with a wooden base and a reindeer skin mattress atop, hence, you’ll have to pay a visit to the reception to collect your sleeping bag or you’ll freeze sleeping on ice. The best part about ice is that it isolates sound extremely well so no need to worry about that snoring neighbour of yours!
    ice-hotel-ice-bed
On top of that, they have an ice bar serving a variety of champagnes and drinks beside an ice gallery. At the Icehotel365 you can also create your own ice sculpture and experience how its like to survive in the arctic wilderness with the half-day beginner’s course where you’ll be taught how to build a shelter and start a fire!
There are 55 rooms, all with different designs so take your pick and have the best weekend ever.

    3. Play in the streams at Rabaeng Pasak Treehouse Resort (Chiang Mai, Thailand)

    chiangmai-treehouse
Located in the depths of Chiangmai, north of Thailand lies Rabaeng Pasak Treehouse Resort; a delightful family-run nature resort. Each additional step you take into the beautiful tree houses transports you to the magical world of mother nature. Every treehouse is uniquely constructed with timber at different levels – choose treehouses built higher up (if you don’t mind the climb) to bask in the cool temperatures of the rainforest or get the ones hidden away in the bushes.
    treehouse-interior
As with all treehouses, there is no such thing as air conditioning so it’ll just be you, the fan and nature all night long! Spend your day interacting with mother nature as you grab a bike to explore the forest, take a dip in the freshwater streams and even enjoy catching fireflies when night comes. We recommend you prepare all types of insect repellents because oh boy, do they thrive in the forest.

    4. Feel alive and free at the Free Spirit Spheres (Vancouver Island, British Colombia)

    spirit-spheres
Set in British Columbia’s Vancouver Island, the Free Spirit Spheres are named as such for a reason. We’ve read that some guests make their way to the spheres to get away from the bustling city life as it provides a conducive space for mental healing. Each sphere is suspended by three poly-steel ropes connected to the surrounding trees; when you enter you’ll realise there is no separation between the ceiling and floor and sharp edges don’t exist.
    sphere-interior
Such an architecture allows sound to bounce off harmoniously giving a very relaxing and nurturing environment. Additionally, each sphere is prepped with a collection of granola bars, fresh pastries and various bread together with purified water, tea and coffee. Take a short walk out and find yourself a barbecue pit and a tiny kitchen where you can make your own meals. It really feels like you’re living in your own little fantasy world.

    5. Spend the day with a Reindeer at Nettlecombe Farm (Isle of Wight, United Kingdom)

Everyone has to experience what it’s like to stay on a farm at least once in your lifetime. Here we have the Nettlecombe Farm owned by the Morris family for over a century in the heart of the Isle of Wright. With several cottages of different sizes accommodating from three to ten pax, we’re 100% sure you’ll find something perfect for your holiday.

There’s plenty to do in The Nettlecombe Farm, from meeting the adorable chickens, geese, turkeys, pigs, rabbits and even the resident reindeer to fishing at the lakes and even yoga sessions. Springtime is an especially fun period to pay a visit because sometimes orphan lambs might need a little help with milk feeding and we can imagine how fun that can be!

    6. Live like a hobbit at Acorn Camping and Glamping (Cornwall, United Kingdom)

    glamping-cornwall
Shoutout to all Hobbit fans, you’re dreams are coming true real soon – as long as you book a flight out to Cornwall. Spend the weekend at Acorn Camping and Glamping’s Hobbit accommodations and it’ll remain one of the best experiences in your life, we promise!
There are 3 types of accommodations:
    Hobbit Hut
Each hut has a cooking area, a communal fire pit and a clothes line on top of the basic amenities. For the most authentic experience, these huts have NO internal main electricity and are not heated. The only source of light you’ll get is a battery-powered LED strip light.
    Hobbit Hideaway
There is only ONE of this nestled in the traditional ancient broadleaf woodland and it’s perfect for the caveman-wannabe. You will also have to fetch drinking water from the Hobbit Hideaway a couple of metres away – how much more natural can this get?
    Hobbit Hole
Decked further out in the forest, each Hobbit Hole has its personal fire-pit where you can harvest your own wood on-site!

    7. Take a ride on Wendy, The Aberporth Express (Wales, United Kingdom)

    wendy-the-train
If you’re thinking about it…yes this does look a train part, doesn’t it? Well, it’s a train carriage from the former Great Western Railway that’s now open to the public overlooking the panoramic views of the Ceredigion Heritage Coast, and she’s called Wendy.
The interior is mostly made of oak giving off a cozy atmosphere, very homey with 2 bedrooms – except for the fact you’re literally in a carriage in the middle of nowhere. This is the best place to have a getaway if you love dolphins and seals because we heard they are often spotted off the coast! Pack a picnic basket and have an al fresco meal on the cliff top outside the carriage or take a stroll down the beach as you watch the waves crash…just beautiful thinking of it.
Before anything, we gotta let you know that you have to be fast with those fingers because Wendy gets fully booked way ahead of time!
