We all know that a trip to Japan is never complete without fully exploring its heart, Tokyo. But aside from Tokyo, there’s another famous city in Japan that’s worth exploring — Osaka! Known as the nation’s kitchen for its amazing street food scene, you’ll get to try different kinds of local dishes like takoyaki (fried octopus balls), okonomiyaki (savory pancake), and kushikatsu (deep fried meat and vegetables) during your visit. And if you feel like having drinks, whether it’s for a chill evening or a wild night out, Dotonbori is the way to go!
Aside from the scrumptious food, the city also boasts popular attractions like LEGOLAND Discovery Center Osaka, Harukas 300 Observatory, and the Umeda Sky Building. If you’re looking to visit these attractions and more, all without breaking the bank, then read on below for our handy tips!

Where can I go with this Osaka Pass?

Now that you’re familiar with what the Osaka Pass is and how it works, let’s look into where the pass can take you during your Osaka trip:
    1. LEGOLAND Discovery Center Osaka
Dad and daughter playing with legos
Step into the world of lego in one of Osaka’s must-visit attractions — the LEGOLAND Discovery Center! Families can enjoy rides like the Kingdom Quest, where you hop on a chariot and go on a journey to save the princess, and The Great LEGO Race, a virtual reality experience that will take you through an exciting LEGO Race where you’ll go against LEGO MINIFIGURES like wizards, pirates, and pharaohs! There are also other attractions like the LEGO Racers: Build & Test, where kids and adults alike can build vehicles out of lego and see how fast your creation can go on the speed test track, and a 4D Cinema where you can watch The LEGO Movie in 4D!
    2. Little Planet Lalaport Izumi
Kids playing at a ball pit
Another family-friendly attraction that you must visit is the Little Planet in Lalaport Izumi, an attraction that combines playing and learning very well through next-generation art! Get ready to plunge into a variety of immersive art that both kids and adults will enjoy. Make sure to drop by the Sand Party, an AR sand play experience, and at Paper Rikishi, a digital paper sumo that changes its strength according to the color scheme applied to the development chart. There’s also the Number Splash, where kids can learn more about numbers by interacting with them through their minds and bodies!
    3. Harukas 300 Observatory
People looking at the city view from above
See the astonishing view of Osaka from high up when you visit the Harukas 300 Observatory, a 3-tiered observation deck (from the 58th to the 60th floor) that comes with an outdoor atrium, a 360-degree glass observation area, and even a restaurant!
Once you’re done marveling at the city view, stop by the 58th floor for a hearty lunch or dinner at the Sky Garden 300 restaurant (make sure to try their course meal for two that comes with three appetizers — tuna and avocado bruschetta, cream cheese pinchos with uncured ham and olives, and yamato pork bacon and egg caesar salad.) For the pasta, they’ll serve a tasty angel shrimp and kujo spring onion cream pasta, and for the main dish, get ready to fill your bellies with a scrumptious awaji beef steak and vegetable frit! A sweet dessert plate will be served afterward to cap off your meal.
Klook Tip: While looking at the city view from high up in the daylight is nice, we suggest you go in the evening instead, when the city lights are on and stars are populating the night sky!
    4. Hep Five Ferris Wheel
    Red gondolas
Thrill-seekers will love this next attraction! Once you hop aboard the red gondola of the Hep Five Ferris Wheel in Umeda, you will be taken 106 meters above the ground! If you’re a sucker for city views, then this ride is also perfect for you because when you reach the Ferris wheel’s peak, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking view of Osaka! Forget the height, and enjoy the sight!
Klook Tip: There’s nothing wrong with riding the gondola alone, but to get the best photos of this experience, make sure to have your loved ones tag along!
    5. Solaniwa Onsen
    A hot spring in Japan
This is your sign to *finally* visit an onsen (hot spring) in Japan! After all the walking, sightseeing, and touring that you’ve done, there’s no better way to recharge than with a relaxing day at Solaniwa Onsen in Osaka Bay Tower! Once you’ve put on your yukata (traditional Japanese robe), feel free to choose among a wide range of relaxing services they have — a foot bath at a rooftop garden, body scrubs to keep your skin soft and clean, hot springs with natural spring water brought up from 1,000 meters below the ground, and a bedrock sauna that will surely ease your body pains and aches!
They also offer different kinds of onsen baths like terrace baths that will give you a stunning view of the grand garden, a private spring water bath with a mini garden, and an open-air bath if you feel like taking a dip in freshwater!
    6. Umeda Sky Building & Kuchu Teien Observatory
Escalator inside the Umeda Sky Building
Something to tick off your bucket list — a visit to Osaka’s iconic and 19th tallest building, the Umeda Sky Building! This building is easily a crowd favorite because of its unique shape consisting of two 40-story towers, connected by a bridge and an escalator, crossing the wide circular space at the center. Once you reach the Kuchu Teien Observatory, take a good look at the view of the city down below. Aside from that, you can also purchase a package that comes with a heart-shaped padlock that you can have engraved for free! You can leave your padlock and throw away the key as proof that you’ve been to the Umeda Sky Building, but you can also take the padlock home as a souvenir!
Klook Tip: The building’s exterior is quite a sight to see so make sure to take photos before entering!
If you only want to visit one attraction, here’s a table showing the individual ticket prices per attraction:
But if you’re looking to explore the best of Osaka, it’s still better to visit more than one attraction. With Klook’s Osaka Pass, you’ll spend less and still get to go to up to four attractions at one price — starting from JPY2,850!
