What you can find in Wizarding World Holiday
Changi Airport has collaborated with Warner Bros. Singapore to bring the magic from the Harry Potter World to you. There will be four life-size replicas of the world that every Potterhead would definitely recognise.
They include Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade Village, Whomping Willow Tree, and Newt Scamander’s Menagerie from the latest Fantastic Beasts movie. The best part is, they’re all in the public area where everyone can enjoy and feel the magic!
1. Hogsmeade Village – Terminal 3 Departure Hall, Level 2
Watch Hogsmeade Village comes to life with the Snow & Light Show! Be quick as it is only available until 6th January 2019.
Show timings are as below:
Weekdays: 6pm, 7pm, 9pm
Weekends: 1pm, 6pm, 7pm, 9pm
You will also get a chance to take and bring home your very own lenticular photo inspired by Hogwarts portraits in the Harry Potter films until 30th December 2018.
Photo timings: Weekends, 3pm – 5pm.
2. Diagon Alley – Terminal 3 Departure Hall, Check-in Row 11
Feel like you are in Hogwarts by trying on robes at Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions in Diagon Alley. Learn how to do magic and do some spells with their wand challenge and test your Quidditch skills by participating in the Quaffle Toss! You can also make the Niffler topple by loading coins into Newt’s suitcase.
3. Whomping Willow Tree – Terminal 2, Departure Hall
Did Fred, George, and Ron Weasley come to Singapore to rescue Harry? Spot the Flying Ford Anglia as seen in the film and see the Whomping Willow Tree like the one found near Hogwarts at Terminal 2!
4. Newt Scamander’s Menagerie – Terminal 1, Central Piazza, Transit Area
If you have seen Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, you would recognise this set. In the new movie, it’s where you can find all of the magical creatures under Newt’s care. Spot the Nifflers (yes, there are more than one now) in Terminal 1!
5. Exclusive Harry Potter merchandise
