Tucked in a corner at a parking lot in Jalan Kia Peng, Little Rara Thai Noodle House started out there as a humble stall serving some unpretentious and comforting Thai food. With 2 more locations now, it is the brainchild of Chef Rudi and his Thai roots, where you can find the Insta-famous and saliva-inducing Tom Yam Taley Noodle!

It’s a base of a rich and creamy tom yum broth and added with prawns, mussels, squid, instant ramen, and luscious egg yolks. If you’re feeling cheeky, you can add cheese on it too! Aside from this addictive tom yam noodle hotpot, you have to try their other dishes like BBQ beef, pad thai, boat noodles, pad kra praw, coconut ice-cream and more!

‘Baan Kun Ya’ which translates to ‘grandma’s house’ started from a grandson who wanted to celebrate his Grandma’s authentic recipes and passion for cooking. With an extensive menu at the restaurant, you’ll be sure to find something you love!

A noteworthy dish in Baan Kun Ya is their Tom Yam Goong, a dish of the iconic spicy sour soup with a generous helping of freshwater prawns and vegetables. Besides that, there’s also the Tom Yam Ta Ley, where the spicy and flavourful soup is accompanied with prawns, clams, squids and crunchy vegetables!
