The Christmas extravaganza at Universal Studios Japan!
One of the best times to visit Universal Studios Japan is during the year end and for good reason – Universal Wonder Christmas! Back again for the 9th year running, get ready for the world’s best Christmas show, the world’s most illuminated tree, a whole new Minion Christmas party and of course, the Hogwarts Magical Night.
The Universal Wonder Christmas 2018 event will take place from 9th November to 6 January 2019 and here’s what you can expect.

1. The Gift of Angels III: The Voice of an Angel
Back for the 10th year running, this award-winning live Christmas show is ready to capture your hearts. Get enchanted by the beautiful entrancing music from the world’s best boys choir from England “Libera”, you’ll wonder if these boys are literally angels from heaven.
Featuring a romantic Winter story backed up by some of the most spectacular light displays and pyrotechnic (firework) effects, you can definitely expect this to be one of the best Christmas celebrations of your lives.
Setting the Guiness World Record for the most lights on a Christmas tree, the Universal Illusion Tree is set to close the show with the grandest Christmas tree light up you’ll ever encounter. With each colour change grander than the last, you’ll surely be left enchanted by this magical tree.
Many people often start queuing up and reserving their seat along the parade passing as early as 3 hours before the show. With so little time in the park, you definitely wouldn’t want to waste time waiting in line.

2. Minions Hacha Mecha Christmas
Forget a white Christmas – at Universal Studios Japan, Christmas is yellow! For the first time ever, Christmas is celebration with a touch of mayhem at the Minion Park. Get ready to dance to your heart’s content in a blast of balloons, bubbles and snow!
You can catch the minions in the holiday costumes with their great leader Gru in the Minions Christmas greeting sessions in the Minion Park. There are also never before seen Christmas decorations and even a candy covered tree.

3. Hogwarts Magical Christmas
Fans of the Harry Potter series will not want to miss the Hogwarts Magical Christmas! How many of you dreamt of having a hot butterbeer like they did in the movies? Well, now you can!
Wands up and get ready to cast lumos and glacius as you watch the castle illuminate right before your eyes. Mark your calendars for 9 November to 28 February because this is something you wouldn’t want to miss.
Stand in front of the Christmas tree at Hogsmeade and with the wave of your wand and Locomotor, watch the ornaments come alive! Lumos will give the tree a warm soft glow.
