Christmas Wonderland is back at Gardens by the Bay!
One of Singapore’s most anticipated events is back! Back for the 5th year running and shining brighter than ever, Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay is definitely not to be missed this Christmas. Happening from 30 November to 26 December 2018, here’s what you can expect at this year’s fair!
Getting tickets to Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay
This event is NOT included in your Gardens by the Bay admission ticket and you will need an additional admission ticket to enter the Christmas Wonderland. This event is known to be extremely popular so we’ll definitely recommend purchasing your tickets BEFORE heading to the event. In addition, tickets sold at the door will cost you more than if you pre-book the tickets.
If you’re planning to head to Gardens by the Bay and the OCBC Skyway as well as the Christmas Wonderland, Klook your Gardens by the Bay package for the full experience. Not only will you get to visit the Christmas Wonderland for S$1, these tickets are open dated, allowing you to pick a day with the best weather to head over.
Do note that you will need to head over to the Red Dot Museum to redeem your tickets before heading over.
A sneak peek into Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay
1. The Luminarie Extravaganza
The brand new luminarie light sculptures is one of the biggest highlights of the fair. You’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into an enchanting European fairytale Christmas fairground the moment you step into the fair. Standing tall at an astounding 21 metres, you also can’t miss Asia’s tallest luminarie Christmas tree which will be illuminated in gold at the entrance of Gardens by the Bay.
Be sure to stay till Blizzard time to experience the wonder of a white Christmas in the middle of the tropics!

For the first time ever, a majestic 22 metre high Luminarie mirror maze will be placed in heart of the Supertree Grove! This is the biggest of its kind in Southeast asia and you will definitely want to weave through the maze of mirrors and snap plenty of photos.
2. Witness The Magic of Rob Lake
If you’ve never heard of Rob Lake, he is one of the world’s top illusionists and he’s here to bring a whimsical touch of magic into your lives. Renowned for performing spectacular illusions, you won’t believe your eyes after watching him perform one of his many tricks.
Do note that you will need to purchase an additional ticket (Adult $12 online* / $14 onsite | Child $8 online* / $10 onsite) on top of your Christmas Wonderland admission ticket in order to catch him in action.
3. Meet Santa in his Grotto
Head to the Grotto to meet the true superstar of Christmas, Santa Claus and get ready for your selfie with the big man. This year, the grotto also features mesmerizing kinetic light installations that scream insta-worthy, so be sure to dress up for your visit.
4. Go ice skating outdoors
Nothing says winter wonderland like ice skating outdoors! This year, the ice rink has expanded and you’ll even find an illuminated Christmas tree nestled in the middle of the rink. Hold on to bae’s hand and get ready for a romantic night ice skating under the stars.
Do note that there is an additional cost of S$10 for adults and S$8 for children for a 30 minute skate session.
5. Experience a Garden Rhapsody Christmas special
If you haven’t already heard, the Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay Supertree grove come alive every night with a sound and light spectacle. This Christmas, there is a limited edition Christmas edition of the light and sound show. Get ready to watch the trees illuminate to a playlist of all your favorite Christmas songs.
The best place to catch this light show is actually up on the OCBC Skyway! Not only will you get an aerial view of all the trees, you won’t have to squeeze with the crowds. Be sure to Klook your Gardens by the Bay, OCBC Skyway and Christmas Wonderland package for the ultimate deal!
6. Enjoy a Christmas feast at Slice of SAVOUR
Experience a bite sized version of the gourmet food festival SAVOUR! Focusing on accessible gourmet comfort food, servings here start from S$6! If you’re a foodie on a budget, this is the best chance for you to get a taste of the gastronomic fare for cheap.
Featuring names like Bees Knees, Blue Lotus, Three Buns and Three Wisemen, you’ll be sure to find something to fit your taste buds.
7. Embrace the spirit of giving at the Festive Market
For most of us, our favorite part of Christmas is presents! Whether it’s shopping for gifts for your loved ones or unwrapping a gift at the stroke of midnight, no one hates presents. Head to the Festive Market and get your hands on some speciality Christmas gifts guaranteed to be the perfect stocking stuffer.
You’ll find beautiful handmade jewellery, leather goods, modern minimalist products and so much more from names like Bold&Craft, Campo Marzio and Sally’s Room. You’ll also be able to fill your bellies with Christmas treats like giant Turkey legs, Beef Tenderloin cubes, Truffle Nachos and even Japanese Souffle Pancakes.
8. Score big at the carnival games
Little ones will definitely love the traditional carnival game stalls, kiddy rides and gingerbread inflatable houses! Score big and take home a stuffed plushie or two to commemorate your night at the wonderland.

9. Yuletide sessions galore!
Follow the melodious voices you hear and you’ll find yourself at Cassa Armonica! Featuring a myriad of music acts from the likes of Joanna Dong, Joie Tan, Lorong boys and .gif, get ready to sing along to your favorite Christmas carols!
10. Meet your favorite Disney Tsum Tsums at Poinsettia Wishes
Mickey and his Tsum Tsum pals have invaded the Gardens by the Bay Flower Dome! Catch them all stacked up in the live Christmas tree amidst all the fairy lights and festive baubles. Spot Olaf right at home in the landscape of poinsettias, Christmas berries and holly.
