Things are heating up in Bangkok – and not in a good way. Temperatures are expected to climb up to 35° to 38° Celcius, starting from this month all the way till May. Coupled with the recent haze, it really hasn’t been the best showing for Bangkok’s weather so far.
Summer in Bangkok officially starts on 21 February, so brace yourself for the oncoming heat. While this may mean cutting short the morning market trips and street shopping, there are still tons of things to do in the Land of Smiles!

11. Visit the Domo-Kun Cafe in The Market, Bangkok’s newest shopping mall
The Market is Bangkok’s newest shopping complex – having opened right next to the famous Platinum Mall on Valentine’s Day this year. Don’t miss the Domo-Kun Cafe on Floor G, where you can find character themed-drinks and dessert, as well as Domo-kun merchandise.
Priced at an affordable 65 baht, the soft serve with tapioca pearls is just the thing to combat the blazing heat!
