The small island Boracay is definitely no stranger to us all. If you’re planning a visit to this beach paradise, be sure to check out some itinerary ideas for your weekend getaway below!

    Best time to visit

    best time to visit boracay
If you’re looking for sunshine, the best time to visit Boracay is between November to May. This dry season is also peak season so be warned that it can get pretty crowded with tourists. Temperatures can range from 25 to 32 degrees celsius. From May to July, temperature can reach up to 38 degrees Celsius, don’t hold back on sunblock!
If you’re looking to avoid the sun, you should visit mid-July to October. The skies are cloudy and the air gives off a cool breeze but rain showers are more common.
All the party people mark your calendars for May! All the locals converge in Boracay to celebrate Labour Day or LaBoracay. Enjoy some of the biggest parties like the Boracay Music Festival with lineups of international and local DJs, leaving you partying the day away.

    How to get to Boracay

    klook car charter boracay
For the uninitiated, Boracay is notoriously difficult to get to! There are no direct flights to Boracay so you may fly to either Kalibo or Caticlan airport. From Kalibo airport, you’ll have to take a 1 and a half to 2 hour trip by car to Caticlan before hopping onto a 20 minute boat ride.
If you don’t wish to go through the hassle of navigating all those transfers on your own, Klook yourself an airport transfer to Boracay and let Klook settle the logistics for you! Whether you’re flying in from Caticlan or Kalibo, we’ve got you covered.

    Boracay Stations

    boracay stations
For you to navigate around Boracay, it would be best to think about them relative to the 3 boat stations.
Station 1 is home to some luxury resorts and the most stunning beaches. If you’re looking to relax and splurge on a relaxing getaway, you should definitely consider living here.
Station 2 is the epicenter of Boracay’s famous White Beach and is always crowded! If you like to be right in the heart of the action, this area is jam packed with people, clubs and restaurants.
Station 3 is the most relaxed of the three. Isolated from the hustle and bustle, if you’re looking for a quiet and intimate time while saving on accommodations, this would be your best bet!
