We had a room facing the street that has many cafes. It was nice to be able to walk out the front door and have dinner or just a beer .

Everything was perfect, except for the door frame, on the inside the deadbolt was not able to securely lock as it was out of alignment but there was a chain. The room itself was spectacular with old charm, a fireplace and a huge garden tub that would easily fit 2 people.

The pictures show a facility that is much newer than it is. The building does show its age. A receptacle in our room did not work. The staff did not bother to see if they could fix it. Our coffee maker kept on switching off after 5 seconds. Our window could not open because it was broken off its hinge. One staff member, a girl, was not pleasant and did not seem to want to help or meet residents. The air conditioners in the room and washroom worked well. I don’t know how our room was a “superior” room. I would hate to see what a regular room is like. Scary.

Great location and a cool building. Very dirty, unattentative staff, and our shower did not work (nor did the staff do anything about that).

The hotel is an historical building, with no elevator, therefore not suitable for guests with mobility issues. It was clean, beds were comfortable, but in need of some updates. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Parking available behind the hotel for $25 per day was very convenient , safe and clean. Location was ideal-10- 20 min walk to all historical sites and lower town. You walked out the door and it was full of restaurants on both sides of the street . We had many delicious meals at all of them. 5 minute walk away is the Concorde Hotel with a revolving restaurant boasting reasonably priced delicious dinners and breathtaking views . We would stay here again

Great location - easy to walk anywhere within the old city. Very friendly and helpful staff

Our room was very clean, and very basic. The bathroom door did not close properly. Parking was available, but somewhat confusing as to where. The remote for the tv is not user friendly and the tv is rather small, considering the distance from the bed. The bed was comfortable and the hotel very quiet. Customers should be aware there is no elevator, so not really conducive to elderly customers or people who as heavy luggage. Desk staff was helpful and friendly.
