Arrived but couldn't check in our room told to come back which was no problem. However when we came back now told problem with the room so they had to send us to their sister hotel quite a distance away in bad neighborhood though the hotel itself was clean. They arranged transportation for us to other hotel which took an hour wait with our bags in the hot sun (apparently taxis or Uber not allowed on this street) had to walk down to city hall. Had to pay transportation back to the hotel for remainder of stay and would not let us check in until 3pm. Came back to hotel at 10 min before 3pm and made us wait until 3pm. Never same staff. Came back one night at 8pm and door was locked. Sheets had old stains on them, looked like tried to wash them out. I do not recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a room only basis . The hotel was situated perfectly for us, near the river , plenty of restaurants and shops around. Staff were very helpful . Room was a good size as was the bathroom . Only slight downside was that the window opened into a dark central area which was full of air conditioning fans - no daylight and no view of any kind . Not a major problem as we were out most of the time .

If all you want is a bed near all of the most important areas this will get you there. The front desk staff were awesome and very helpful. The room was not. Within the first 10 minutes I had to squish a crawling bug of some sort. The room was tidy but here are a few of the downsides. Th bathroom although updated, was dirty in the shower and surrounding silicone lines. The light over the sink not installed & hanging by a wire from the ceiling. Same for a light in the main room. The bed was sagging on both sides but able to sleep anyway, the bed only had sheets, no blankets. The window looked out to the other rooms, space was no bigger than the bathroom. Super convenient to everything.

Most of the staff spoke little or no English. The description said the room had a safe but the safe not only did not work but it wasn't even bolted down. You could litteraly pick up the safe and carry it out of the rrom. They said they had breakfest but it was only room service

Amazing location. Hotel itself was fine overall. Our beds didn’t have blankets and staff was quite unhelpful (only one person working at the front desk was even remotely helpful during our five day stay). They also ran out of towels at one point? It was clean overall but the beds were very old and somewhat questionable. Honestly would stay again for the price and location but expect some bumps along the road in your stay.

The hotel is in a great location, the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are nice, only thing is that our air conditioner wasn’t working our last night there, but besides that it is a nice hotel.

Clean room but the bathroom ceiling has a leak and it had a mold apart from that the hotel is nice and air conditioning is working. Lots of shops and restaurants around the area and landmarks are near as well.

The room was big, which was great. However, there was no hot water for the shower on 3 out of the 5 days. I reported this on numerous occasions but it wasn’t rectified.

Our 2nd stay over an 11 day span. Location and staff are the best things about the Arsenal Suites. Close to transportation hubs for train and boats and tram run runs by. Close to a grand plaza. Breakfast is simple buffet style, various croissant, pastries, cereal/granola, yoghurt, delicious coffee. Minimal hot breakfast, waffles on demand. Excellent dining steps away, and 100s more up Alphonso st.
