Easily situated for access from autoroute and petrol stop at Carrefour. The hotel was very busy with a coach party in, so still cannot understand why it has closed the restaurant and becomes a B/B hotel. Very pleasant surroundings with a mixture of banking and service businesses and residential

We use it as a stopover as it is mid journey to between home and Charente Maritime. The staff are very pleasant and it is clean and comfortable. The dining area has been converted to a breakfast area with new buffet and tables and chairs and dinner is no longer available. We hit opening day for the new breakfast area and given the grand tour by the lovely staff member, but the tray rail and trays were gone, fortunately it was not busy so if you had cereal and coffee you took it to your table, had come back for bread, or juice etc. which left for a lot of movement and would lead to congestion at busier times. 'Just saying' I am sure someone with experience as thought this out.

Hotel was going through some management changes , they need to update some of the photos , there is no longer a restaurant on site , hotel also shows a pool which is no longer there , overall rooms are comfortable although a little smaller than appear in photos , there is plenty of free parking on site , there are plenty of good restaurants nearby

We have used this hotel for over 10 years, and after a 9 hour drive arrived to be told that the restaurant was no longer open unless coach parties were staying. No details supplied in advance. Not sure we will stay again.

The room was basic, no in room drinks equipment. The main problem is that whilst advertising restaurant service it has become Bed and breakfast only. Will be checking out alternatives. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and I worry for their future. Have used this hotel for a number of years and made use of the restaurant so disappointed.

Good welcome from reception zbd advice about eating oit.Note: hotel restaurant isnt open on Mondsy. Room is neat and tidy and all you need for one or two nights. The location is nice abd quiet with great parking.

The hotel has become Bed/Breakfast only which was disappointing (checked with the manager). It used to serve a limited evening meal which was good quality and tasty. Now recommended with no enthusiasm at reception McDonald's, Buffalo Grill and Cantina (Italian) approx 1 km away. Just what you need when you have had a long day driving. Breakfast remains just about unchanged
