friendly staff, clean hotel, and a great atmosphere! close to a lot of nice shops and restaurants. i ❤️ nagoya

大人2人と小学生1人でツインルームに泊まりましたが、ベッドも部屋も充分な広さでした。

Nice large rooms and very friendly staff. Walkable area with a station not too far away.

reception staff poorly trained. Gave me wrong room keys and i had to go up and down

The hotel has a very good location near one of the larger tourist spots and within reasonable walking distance to the subway. The rooms are efficient.

Clean and spacious room. Very generous breakfast provided. The staff was friendly and promptly addressed our request for an extra blanket and coffee pods. Close to public transit. Would stay here again.

This hotel is a bit rough around the edges. I have allergies and they were not able to provide an allergy free room to a reasonable standard. The hypoallergenic pillows were limited and had to be reserved in advance and were hard as a rock. They said the room was smoke free but you could smell smoke in the headboard and curtains. The carpet was nasty. My allergies flared up and I had an asthma attack. The bathroom was a tiny elevated cubicle. Functional but tiny. The staff were kind and helpful. There was a drying line in the bathtub. They did not allow for early check in without a fee, even though they said the room was ready. But they kindly allowed me to leave my luggage and brought my luggage to my room. There was no lobby to speak of, no coffee maker in the room or free coffee at the front desk. There’s no gym or workout room. Minimal amenities. The elevator doesn’t go to the ground floor. Instead you had to request that they reverse the escalator. It was functional but I would never stay there again.

Excellent Hotel for transiting or for visiting the city. Conveniently located close to main shopping precincts and famous sites. The rooms was quite spacious with all the general room amenities available. The only comment is the room is abit dark even with all the lights on but that could be personal preference. They have great staff that’s caring to their customers needs. We left and the escalator was switched on to go up as the lobby is located on the second floor after the escalator but when we left with our luggage rather with me carrying 2 large luggage down the stairs there front desk staff had ran out and helped switched the escalator to go down which was really thoughtful. Thank you Hotel trusty for making our first night in town all the more comfortable. we will be back next time we visit.

The room at Hotel Trusty Nagoya Shirakawa was very spacious for Japanese standards. Definitely a solid stay. I made the mistake of booking smoking room because it was the only deluxe double room left at the time of booking. Super convenient with the subway nearby and a convenience store basically on every corner. Good location for exploring Nagoya, soaking in the city vibes. Close walking distance to the science museum, local restaurants and shops. Would have preferred toiletries amenities such as bath towel, facial wash, liquid cleanser, face cream instead of what was provided. Most hotels have them near the lobby area for the convenience of the guests. There a microwave at every floor but there is no general lounge or dining area for guests to use.
