Overnight stay was decent for a last minute reservation, and the in-hotel restaurant is good, but instead of the belgian waffle, yogurt and assorted fruit for my in-room breakfast order I received three tiny cold silver dollar pancakes.

The location was great…a walk to St. Peter’s Square, the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. Close to the Metro for everything else The Hotel was small and disappointing…the room was small and certain areas were dusty. It felt like one step up from a Hostel and was attached to a church. It didn’t look like the pictures at all. But, we were only staying 2 nights pre-cruise, so we dealt with it. The breakfast was ok, nothing special and the same each day. Some items were strange. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, except for one guy (mostly worked at night and had bangs, don’t know his name) but he was very unfriendly and not helpful at all. If we ever went back to Rome, we would try someplace else.

This hotel and staff were absolutely fabulous!! We highly recommend staying here. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The staff were so helpful, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Breakfast buffet was always delicious and they even packed us a to go breakfast when we had to leave early to catch the train. Location is great for walking to restaurants and public transportation, also not far from the Vatican and St Peter’s Basilica. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Clean, breakfast was good, staff were nice, rooftop was really nice. Overall hotel was great. 20 minute walk to Vatican.

The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a comfortable size. The shower was large with excellent water pressure. It was an easy walk to the Vatican. There was a moderate selection of food at the breakfast bar with delicious pastries and common Italian foods(pizza, eggplant, breads). Fresh fruits were limited. The hotel is attached to a beautiful church: Church of Saint Joseph 'al Trionfal' .The hotel overall is a good value.

I was visiting Rome with a friend to watch Italy v England in the Six Nations 2026. The hotel was in a perfect location for us. We also visited St Peter's square and the Vatican, both very close by. Very clean and very helpful staff - they organised the transfers to and from the airport for us.
