It was totally uncomfortable we check out within 4 hours because the whole property was empty and even they said us to stay inside cottage after 8:00pm because of wild animals that made us more uncomfortable. Totaaly disappointed. Not good to count on .

This is a property with a breathtaking view of the Ooty huills and valleys. The cottages are good although they now require a fresh coat of paint inside. Food is decent and the breakfast spread is very good and so is the dinner buffet. Hotel staff are helpful and response to the calls is quick. Hot water timings are restricted in the mornings and evenings but that's not too much of an issue. The hotel helped us with a immersion rod beyond the normal timings so that was very helpful. Overall, we had a great stay due to the lovely weather and the enchanting views from the balcony. Highly recommended for those looking for a hotel situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main town with peace and quiet amongst the company of nature and birds.

Breath taking view , friendly stuffing, rooms view was wow. My perfect anniversary gift. Thank you LA Montana.

I generally do not write reviews! But this one forced me to... Went as a couple to stay at the property (La Montana) for 2 days. We checked out 5 days ago when writing this review. The wifi did not work until we left, the television never worked always giving error that payment due. When we went to eat breakfast we been asked to leave because it was very close to "closing" time . Very rude staffs. Bathroom stinks - no proper showerhead or hot water. Staff had to come 3 times to fix our telephone - which was broken. They worked on the telephone for 1 hr in the middle of the night. There was a big spider in the bathroom which required their staff to come with a stick and kill the poor thing in the middle of night. Total thumbs down for this place!! I guess this hotel was rebranded from "saagar" which probably horrible as well. Do not go by the looks !!! The views are amazing but everything else is a downhill.. Spend some more money and go somewhere else - just skip this place! Rude staff, poor management on room (telephone, tv, wifi, hot water, service, etc). If you decided to stay here- bring your own towels as well. OR skip this place and go somewhere else...
