I traveled to Edinburgh to visit family. This hotel is centrally located yet quiet from the noise of Princes Street. The room was amazing and the staff was always helpful. Will definitely return on my next visit!

We had a lovely stay overall and chose this hotel for its refundable option but also the fun theme, full bar, and full Scottish breakfast room service, all of which absolutely delivered. Their kitchen was low on supplies but the light bites were good. Roomservice was also great, and the room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with nice touches like replenished water and coffee. We had the Berlin and it was sleek and modern. The staff truly stood out: friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful. They made our anniversary feel special with a celebratory bottle of bubbly, which we really appreciated. The location is fantastic, and we enjoyed being steps away from great spots and enjoyed light bites at the Dome next door as well. That said, the biggest downside is the exterior noise, which other reviews mention and we can now confirm. It was especially loud on Saturday, with nightlife sounds continuing past 2 AM. We came prepared with a small air purifier for white noise, which helped once we fell asleep, but it’s definitely something to consider. This is a great hotel for younger travelers or those planning to enjoy the nightlife and sleep in. For us, the service, comfort, and thoughtful touches made it memorable despite the noise.

I needed the torch on my phone to see how to put the lights on. Room was very dark.

The property had an interesting design concept. Each room represented a different city. The room was very spacious. But the switches for the lighting were a little complicated because of the size of the room and the concept. There was a leak below the shower door onto the bothroom floor. They need to look into that. Also, on first arrival to the hotel I called the desk but no one answered. They do not have anyone manning the front desk constantly. You have to ring a bell to get the person out of the nearby "back" room.

The rooms were all unique and comfortable in the hotel with themes from European cities. We stayed in the Berlin room with photo displays from that location.

Good Shoreditch location and bus stop right out front.
