Most beautiful, exotic and well maintained property we experienced in Thailand! Staff are incredible hospitable and genuinely kind. The views, the pools, the beach, the food….all spectacular! Hope to return someday. Shout out to Eddie, Amam, Lung, Zin for exceptional service. There are a few others that deserve a mention but I cannot remember their names :(

this place is a little tired and i think needs a bit of a re-boot. There were great elements and the set up is peaceful and the breakfast was very nice, but the real let down was that the whole place is like the marie-celeste in the evenings. there is no life. no hub. no bar and 2 restaurants but both on the same menu so in fact, only 1! we dont want partys and seek out places that are quieter but this was way too quiet. there was a musical duo which seemed to play most evenings but they were not good, oddly placed in relation to the diners and often playing to 4 or 6 people which makes everybody a little uncomfortable.

They were very unorganized with the waiters and waitresses on average. It would take 15 minutes to order a beer then when it arrived at that dinner table, it was warm and had to get ice.

On checking in, the staff were lovely and very helpful, however we had to be moved after our first night after to bathroom flooded due to heavy rain and lack of upkeep of the building roof. The second room was dirty, full of ants and in extremely poor condition. The hotel were unable to help, and could only offer a free massage or meal as compensation. Definitely not a 5* resort as advertised, and we left 3 nights early, resulting in us being out of pocket, however I could not stay here as I was left covered in bites and felt the poor upkeep was a health hazard.

All room types are based on 2 persons, including breakfast, and can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults or 2 adults + 1 child (aged 2-11 years old).

The extra person policy applies to all periods as below: Children aged 0–1 year stay free when sharing with an adult; Children aged 2–11 years will be charged THB 450 Net per person per night, including breakfast.

**31 December Restriction:**

Guests staying on the night of 31 December are not permitted to check out on 31 December.

A minimum stay of 2 nights is required for stays including the night of 31 December.

Please present the same credit card used to guarantee the booking, together with a valid passport, upon check-in at the hotel.

Please note that the name of the credit card holder must be the same as the guest's name on the passport and reservation.

Please note that the resort provides transfer services by speedboat and shuttle van between Trat Airport and the property at an additional charge.

A damage deposit of THB 3,000 is required upon arrival and must be paid in cash. The deposit will be refunded in full in cash upon check-out, subject to a satisfactory inspection of the property.

A compulsory New Year's Eve Gala Dinner on 31 December is required for all guests staying at Santhiya Koh Chang Resort.

Guests are required to pay the gala dinner fee directly to the resort. Advance arrangements can be made via email at treekohchang@santhiya.com.

**Gala Dinner Charges:**

Children aged 0-1 year: Complimentary when sharing with an accompanying adult;

Children aged 2-11 years: THB 1,500++ per person;

Adults aged 12 years and above: THB 3,000++ per person.

Guests booking the Resort Credit promotion will receive daily breakfast and THB 1,000 Resort Credit per room per night, which can only be used for dining and spa services during the current stay and cannot be redeemed for cash.
