The host of the property is helpful, responsive and friendly. The location is just nice, not too near the main city but not too far from attractions. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Two tips: rooms are only accessible by stairs, and food options are a bit far for dinner (Uber Eats works just as well). Recommended to enjoy authentic Yilan.

We booked the Bali style room, which was spacious, romantic, and bright! It features Bali style design/decoration with a semi outdoor shower/bathtub and a balcony with an incredible view of the rice paddy. We were able to take a bath in the large tub at night while listening to the sound of crickets. The host Vernnica allowed us to postpone the check-in date even though the room rate was non refundable via expedia. When the host found out that I couldn’t change the date via Expedia in the US, she contacted the one in Taiwan and took care of it for us. It was much appreciated as we had a family scheduling conflict. The building itself only had 4 rooms (they also have 2 other buildings nearby cater to large groups, please check their website). We were given the Bali room on the 3rd floor. It was so quiet at night that we did not hear the guests from the other room (they had a family), so it felt like we were the only people there. Please note that the room does not have a mini fridge but we were able to store our stuff in the kitchen fridge. The housekeeper (Ms. Sauan) made us delicious breakfast every morning. She was very friendly and helpful with local attractions and tips. We also learned about the bnb’s history and the history of Taiwan. Definitely choose this location for your future stay in Luodong/Yilan.

We stayed in this B&B to have a different experience from the hotel in Taipei. The B&B is quite quaint like staying in a house. We ate breakfast cooked by the hotel with another guest and had a good chat about places to see and things to eat. Location is not the most central and hard to find even for taxi driver. Check in was not the smoothest as the B&B was closed and we had to wait for the property manager to arrive while it was raining very hard outside. However she was quite friendly and helpful with suggestions and provided us with extra blanket as it was cold that night. However Luodong is not a major tourist attraction and the sites are quite barren in Dec so probably better to go there during the spring or summer.

The minsu owner, Vernnica, was super friendly and cheerful. Breakfast was amazing! There was coffee, tea and biscuits in the kitchen which you are free to help yourself to. My only issue was with the toilet which is see through - perhaps not an issue if you are staying with your significant other but I was there with my parents so...lol. It was an interesting bonding experience. Otherwise the room was clean and the house beautiful. A bit tough to get to if you don’t have transport.

It oversees a small waterway and rice field. The owners of the place has decorated the place beautifully and comfortably. The owners and staff are very friendly and hospitable. The owners will contact you prior to the day of arrival. Although we arrived at night via a free shuttle bus and the area is not brightly lited, they will arrange someone to guide and bring you to the place. It is a short walk from the bus stop. Love it.

Stayed here 2 nights in the room on 3rd floor facing the street. This is a wonderful B&B-- newly renovated, warm and inviting, impeccably clean, delicious breakfast, and hosts who kept looking for ways to help make sure we had a great time. It's in a residential area in Luodong, quiet at night, but not far from the night market, train station, etc. The owners speak both Mandarin and English. Highly recommended. The owners have three properties in town, this is their latest project. And, even though our room was fine, we caught a glimpse of the room across the hall--it looked even better (3rd floor facing rear).

Very comfort and have a good room view, but quiet far away from city.
