Word of mouth carries a lot of wait from the bush it was good old fashion service and charm and a great price ,country people have stopped coming to Sydney because of the room prices at most motels which is a shame I had business in Sydney and was surprised by the price we will be back with friends as the room prices allow families to enjoy

My father first took me to stay there when I was 15 (Now 90). His role as a Union official in the mining industry required him to travel to Sydney on many occasions. Always stayed at Great Southern where he was treated like royalty. it was on my bucket list to have a stay there......same excellent experience. June Kelly

The cost of the room was reasonable and it was only 500 metres from Central Railway Station which was a plus for a lone woman to walk after getting in on the train after 9.00pm.

They need to have change so you can pay cash or are they trying to go cashless I tried to pay cash for 2 breakfast at $10 each and they said they didn’t have charge of $50
