Do not stay on the fourth floor. It is the converted roof and the rooms have slanted ceilings. I was in room 401 and I had two slanted ceilings in the corner. Really they should be offering these rooms at a reduced rate and not the same class as a room with high ceilings. Other than that, the hotel is very nice and I do recommend it.

Our suite needs thorough carpet cleaning, many stains were visible. Staff at the front desk was nice when approached, otherwise busy with personal talks. The breakfast was very much under par for the type of hotel Maximilians advertises to be. You are not allowed to get the table you want. There is nobody in charge for refilling the buffet. Items were missing for the whole time we had breakfast. You will be asked for your coffee order once and never again. We have stayed here many times before and the quality of service is going down every single time. We are very sorry to be forced to leave this kind of commentary, but it is the truth. Hopefully this can be addressed and fixed quickly.
