The room was offered wasn’t suitable to be used for guests and was worried if the ceiling going to claps over night. Asked for room to be changed but was told fully booked and not room available. I have been booking my entire team for the last couple of months in this hotel but for sure no more booking for the future from us.

The main thing is that the hotel is in need of refurbishment - old bathroom fittings especially. NB There is no lift so access is difficult, as well as carrying luggage around quite large property. Also no room with no walk-in shower which again is a big problem fro accessibility issues, especially for elderly guests.

It’s nice to have an indoor pool when you have young kids. They enjoyed it a lot and the opening time is quite long, so we can still enjoy it in the early morning or after dinner.

We were impressed with the Holiday Inn, it was convenient for the purpose of our visit to the area. Good sized bedroom and comfortable super king bed. Great bathroom with popular products. Price was fair for the area. Food was of a good variety of choice, presented well. We did a room service meal, great service! Our TV lost it sound, Jason quickly got it sorted! No issues.

Staff were lovely from the check in to check out, and in the restaurant. We used the pool which was great. Only criticism is that the gave most of the pool to lane swimming with only a few people using that area and packed in around 15-20 people in one third of the pool. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was great. Breakfast had a good choice and was kept tidy and filled.
