My stay was fine and nothing special until I checked out. I saw a 325$ fee on my credit card and I go to speak to the assistant manager Lacey and she stated that that was a smoking fee. I was confused as I’m not even a smoker and neither is the person I stayed with. She was like this is a new “smart” system and it detects when smoking occurs… I was like well the system must have made a mistake because again we do not smoke. She said no worried and had me file “a smoke dispute form.” I said what’s the length of this process, and she said 24hrs. I never heard back so I went 2 follow up emails and she replied stating that after review, no mistake had occurred and smoking did occur in our room. My question now is where is the proof and why am I being accused of smoking when I don’t even smoke? How do I know it’s not the staff. How can I trust in this so called “smart” smoke detector. I won’t stay silent on this. $325 is not a small fee and I definitely don’t even smoke and I don’t know what’s wrong with this hotel. I’ll never stay here again. Disappointed and disgusted by these accusations.
