Nice hotel in a fairly quiet area. The staff were helpful and I was provided free breakfast as part of my stay, which was nice. Room was a good size, with a very comfortable bed.
There isn't much in the area in terms of tourism but I used the couple of days here to reset from having had a hectic week or so prior. There's a nice beach in Miho to walk along, which is about 50 minutes on the bus.

Фантастично Smile hotel was a great hotel not far from the Shizuoka station. It was exactly as expected and as pictured. The room was perfect for one and the bathroom was spacious. The wifi worked well and the breakfast was simple (toast, some breads, juice, coffee) but free, so no complaints! The staff were very friendly and they held my bags for 2 hours after check out. All in all, I would recommend this place if you're staying in Shizuoka.
