This is a beautiful family-owned and run business. The owner is German with a Thai wife. His step-son handles most of the day-to-day operations. They have a lovely little daughter who is so sweet. They were very helpful with recommendations to drive to and visit the National Parks nearby and even organized amazing boat trips for us to both national parks. They are situated right on the Mekong River. What makes this place exceptional is their location far away from everything else. It is so peaceful. They have amazing Thai and western food, including an amazing steakhouse because the owner used to be a butcher. They even helped watch the children while the parents ate. And when we needed to go to town for some supplies, they promptly drove us there and back. They have a lovely garden with water features, good AC and fans, and a nice pool for children, along with swings and a small playground. They have a stocked bar, and they make watermelon smoothies to die for. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I can’t wait to go back!

This place is almost right on the Laos/ Thai border and quite remote. The wildlife was incredible. Staff were very good and the pool was great. The food is to be recommended. The view across the Mekong is not to be missed.

A cool place with great food and comfortable cabin type rooms. Thoughly enjoyed our stay. Quiet , great views and close to everything yet just out of town.

Friendly and helpful, beautiful room, amazing views, had arrived a bit before 2pm but allowed to check in still which was great as very hot day.

We really enjoyed the peaceful setting and beautiful views. The pool was lovely, food excellent and staff very friendly. Could not fault it.

2nd Ocassion visiting, this Beautiful Property. Private Secluded, Great Facilities, and some of the Best Food i have tasted in Thailand

On our whole vacation this was by far Thailand's gem! This is one place i will come back to every time i come to Thailand. This is the most romantic place for couples that i have ever stayed anyplace in the world. I havent even mentioned the food and the food was the best i had in Thailand. I never expected to find food in the country in Thailand that even the biggest of food snobs could find no fault. Pelle and his staff have created a very special lovers retreat on the Maekong river that if you come to Thailand and don't pay them a visit its your mistake. I have traveled enough to know that you rarely find a gem like this!! Thank you, Randy & Angkana

Excellent Accomadation, and Restaurant. Food was 5 Star Quality. Probably best Food iv had in Thailand .

The site overlooks the 'Two-colour' river junction, very picturesque and tranquil. Good grounds and pool. The room was terrific, well appointed and immaculate although a little expensive. The restaurant was pricey and not equal to the cost. Overall a good experience, will stay again.
