This hotel was really cool! It had a retro Palm Springs vibe. The rooms were clean and area was safe. Really close to museums, Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The diner on site was very popular so I’m sure it was really good (we didn’t get to try it). I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the old Hollywood theme of the hotel. The front desk and valet were both super friendly and helpful. Rooms and hotel were clean and newly renovated. My only complaint is the AC in the room is very noisy. Overall a very pleasant stay with a helpful, friendly staff.

Ok the place makes you feel like you were in Hollywood , and I live that. Great diner that is connected to hotel. Didn’t make the bar. Staff was extremely helpful and really nice.

Overall, we like staying here - 4 times now. On the downside, this trip was in July in a heat wave, and the AC unit in the room could not handle the room. The staff was very nice and moved us to another room and that solved the problem. So 1 star off for having to repack and move. They need to upgrade certain room AC and problem would be fixed. And the coffee maker in the room with the bad AC was also broken. But for the really important stuff - staff, valet parking, etc - highly recommend as there is a restaurant and bar in the same building, so all you need is right there.

Fun hotel in a great location. Rooms were large and clean, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Exactly what we were looking for when going to Universal Studios as part of our visit. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved this hotel! I was hesitating about it but thanks God I didn’t cancel it. It was beyond my expectations! Very well decor with so many old Hollywood details. Friendly staff and very convenient valet parking. Super spacious room, with a big and beautiful bathroom. Superb location in Hollywood, near to 101 highway which make easier to drive to other locations in Los Angeles. Had breakfast in the American diner next to the property. I will stay again with no doubt!

My husband and I love staying at the Hollywood Franklin. This is our second time and we will be back in the future. This trip we hung out by the pool for the day and we had a blast!!! You can bring your own food and drinks into the pool area and enjoy the beautiful California weather! The pool is deep, which is a nice feature if you enjoy swimming. We also love the staff at the hotel. The vallet and receptionists are so nice!! Clark Street Diner is also a great breakfast and lunch spot! We had the Reuben, Pancakes, and Chilaquiles. Everything was delicious!!!
