The hotel’s location was excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We were a family of four and stayed in a suite, which was spacious and comfortable. The reason I’m giving the room 3 stars is that several pieces of furniture had noticeable stains, and the room could have been cleaner overall. A little more attention to cleanliness and maintenance would make a big difference. The rooftop hot tub and sauna on the fourth floor were a great amenity. The hot tub was extremely hot, but we still enjoyed relaxing there after a day of sightseeing. Free parking at the bottom level was definitely a plus. In addition, you can also wash your clothes. As for the price, Banff is expensive these days, so the cost was about what we expected. Overall, we had a great stay and would consider staying here again.

The hotel is in a great location with parking. Made walking around town easy and accessible to all restaurants and shops. Rooms are spacious though the first floor inside facing rooms feel a little claustrophobic and not so bright. Would have preferred a higher floor. Some of the staff are amazing and super helpful. While a couple of them seemed a little standoffish. Example- asked for a concierge and the young lady said she was one, but then was unable to answer any basic question about the area, asked her for a map she said she’d have to see if she had one, proceeded to ask her colleague who pulled out a whole stack and gave us one and showed us the entire area.. so you get the point. Some of staff are extremely helpful, while a couple of them not so much. They said we were eligible for an upgrade but then proceeded to not upgrade us as they didn’t have rooms and then asked us for extra money to upgrade us the following day.. which was strange. There was a lovely young lady Jess who served us breakfast and coffee for two mornings. She was always smiling and extremely friendly and nice. However there was another lady working in the restaurant .. who was borderline rude. I had a small cup of yogurt almost finished before I sat down for breakfast.. instead of politely pointing out to leave it outside, she came over to the table from behind me and barked ‘no outside food’. It really was an oversight on my part.. and I felt so insulted I didn’t even finish my breakfast.

Pretty well maintained. Small recommendations to have microwave atleast in all rooms

Staff very welcoming. Room very comfortable and clean Enjoyed watching FIFA games in the restaurant/bar. Breakfast menu excellent. Would stay here again

Great stay. Free parking. Very helpful staff. Nice rooftop area with hot tub, sauna, pool and gym. Walkable to most places in town.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and patient, answering all of our questions and even helping us recover a t-shirt we had lost through the lost and found. One of my favorite moments was sitting on the balcony, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of Banff. Another unforgettable experience was relaxing in the rooftop hot tub in the light evening rain, watching clouds drift past the distant mountain peaks. It felt very unique and special. The hotel itself is excellent. Parking downstairs was convenient, and it was easy to walk to nearby supermarkets and shops. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place.

It didn’t feel like luxury in any sense

The staff was great and the hotel was wonderful! We would recommend it to others.
