Arrived at the property with 4 luggage's to find out there is not elevator, no assistance. We were told our room will be on the 3rd floor. Took the smallest luggage to find the room, went up not 3 but 8 narrow stairs to barely find the room and opened the door to more steps to an attic. Front desk spoke no English, no manager on site. Traveled 15 hours across the ocean to be stuck outside looking for a hotel. This was a terrible choice and not meant for tourists. Luckily we were able to find a great hotel nearby who accommodated for the 5 nights and we had a great time in Prague.

The photos shown for the dining area aren't legit - you do not eat in this area. That was a pretty huge disappointment and a hitch in our plans. The food is super basic, too. Do not plan on eating a large breakfast and only one meal later - it's not going to happen. Major bait and switch. Also, when you get there, they charge an additional city tax to stay - wasn't expecting that and didn't budget for it. Also, not cool - though perhaps I should have known. Staff is really, really helpful and patient - just great. Most speak solid English. If you are budgeting, Old Town is similar in prices to lager cities in the States/West Europe - you have to leave Old Town and its surroundings to get the more typical Czech prices. They stock drinks in the refrigerator but be aware that you have to pay for them - having said that, the cost is way more reasonable than what one could purchase in Old Town, so take advantage of it. Fantastic location - really couldn't choose better. If you have difficulties with stairs or balance, make sure you're on some of the lower levels - there isn't a elevator. We'd definitely return to this location, though - the family suites (four beds) are superb in ambiance!

This hotel was in an excellent central location in the Old Town in a very charming old building. The building was clean with breakfast and WiFi included. However, travellers should be aware that there is no elevator, which means carrying luggage all the way up the stairs to whatever assigned room (we were on the top floor!). The hotel is not air conditioned but they did provide a fan, which would have been adequate except during a heat wave!

It was a very mediocre property only good thing is location

Location (right in the middle of the old town) is great but everything else not so good. Room was tired and in need of renovation and only had tiny skylight windows so was dark, air con unit didn’t work properly. Breakfast was poor and breakfast room not really big enough for the number of guests. About 90 steps up to the room but I possibly should have guessed that because I was aware that it was an attic suite when I booked.

A good place if you are not planning to stay in

Not a fancy place, but you can't beat the location. The tours start just a block away and the celestial clock tower is just around the corner. So 4 stars: the place is clean and well maintained (it's an older building so no elevator and tall (over 5'10") people need to duck to not bump their head on the stairs. The beds are hard, the breakfast is okay (not fancy, but cereal, bread, rolls, sausage, juice and coffee). Staff was friendly... Enough and the place was secure (you have to ring the door bell to get let in every time you enter).

Some boil eggs should be great and less processed meats ,also ,an additional pillow will be really appreciated. The rest, was a good experience and absolutely recommend.

Nice hotel, great location, decent breakfast but the staff should work on their people skills. Extremely sour and curt bunch of people.
