Loved the central location. Wonderful, big bar with a beer garden and huge sports screen. Construction across the street ensures you have a full day...lol. But otherwise wonderful, charming hotel. Make sure you take pictures in the lobby. We'll adorned and every pic is framed.

Stay was not great, room we were given was in a separate building which meant upon arrival in heavy rain, I was checked in but then sent outside in the rain again to another entrance further down the road. There were lifts but to get to the lifts you had to use stairs which was not ideal with a heavy case. The room was noisy and we had the fire alarm going off for a few minutes twice in the night at 11pm and 1:30am so it wasn’t a restful nights sleep. The lack of reception in the building we stayed in made it feel isolated and unsafe. You would have had to go outside again to speak to reception staff and raise any concerns or seek assistance. I would not recommend this hotel to solo travellers or single parents and will not choose to stay at this hotel again.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, super close to Green Line and the Airport Bus, excellent location, comfy beds Cons: This building has seen better days... or decades! There's no AC and our room was super hot even with the windows open at 17 degrees at night. Everything is functional so it gets the job done, but be prepared for weird stuff (ie. do you need a pants press or hair dryer from the 90s? Weird stairs to nowhere? They've got you!)

After check in we were directed to go back out of the reception building and move all our luggage to another building and walk out to the road side where our room is. Going inside the building is very stressful since we have to carry all our luggage through the stairs by ourselves. No help. Lift layout did not make sense. Bathroom exhaust did not work for the whole duration of our stay. Furnitures are outdated and tv channels always have no signal.
