Nice hotel in a convenient location very close to the train station. Clean with good air-conditioning, which was helpful as we were there during a very hot time. On a busy street with no view. We had a bit of an issue in which there was a citywide festival while we were there with a DJ stand literally underneath our window which pumped music until 2:30 AM. While we were told there was a festival in the city that weekend it was not made clear the level of disruption and noise this would create. While they eventually gave us a discount on our room, we would have stayed elsewhere had we known.

The rooms was spacious and well furnished, although didn’t feel like it was very well kept. The biggest issue was the non-working air conditioning on a hot day. The hotel is on a busy street so sleeping with the windows open wasn’t possible because of the noise either. They were kind enough to give us a fan but it didn’t really work. 2 nights of terrible sleep!

Excellent location and hotel. Room was large and nice bathroom. A safe area and close to so many. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great and good selection. Thanks for a fun stay!

The Bristol was very conveniently located in Bern inner city near the train station, Bern Bahnhof and all the shops and cafes of the old town. The room was spacious by European standards. Very comfortable and staff friendly and responsive. Breakfast was excellent.
