On arrival the reception staff discussed local things to do and places to eat over a welcome drink and snack. Meanwhile another member of staff had been to switch on the aircon in our room. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The breakfast buffet varies most days, which makes a lovely change. It was a 15 minute walk to the night market, but you should download Grab (similar to Uber), which was very reasonable, if you wish to visit places any further.

Pool needed more shade, marble was too hot to walk on. Walking across the road to use it was also inconvenient and a negative
