The only thing true about the room from the advisement was the view. You couldn’t ask for better. However the rest was so far from the truth in the picture. We even asked for clean fresh blankets because I wouldn’t let my family use what was in the cupboard. My husband slept on a rolled up towel and the 1 pillow that he was allocated as his was so flat. There was one chair on the balcony. No table. Some blue substance splattered over the balcony floor. Rubbish has not been cleaned off the roof that we could see down below us, old baby’s bottle and old cans. The tub had dreaming away issues so when using the shower you were constantly standing in ankle deep water. There was old blue tac on the walls where a motor or poster must have been. The tv table has multiple holes where another device was secured to it once. There was wire cabling hanging from the glass door frame onto the balcony. I understand that the room price was on the cheaper end of what else is in that area but it’s just sheer false advertisement. We would have stayed 20km away to have the same price and a whole better experience.

wifi didn't work. cleanliness level was mediocre. old and poorly maintained hotel. good location and nice staff.

Staff lovely The room we were in hasn't had any renovations for at least 30 years Should not be used just terrible Probably contracted Scabies from a blanket i wouldn't use as a door mat. No hand towels replacement of towels or rinsing and washing items. Electrical points original and damaged. We won't be back

The staff were amazing, property was clean and you have all the room facilities you need, great pool, due to the fact the resort was closed for 3yrs and had only reopened 3wks before we came it was in good condition, can’t wait to come back and see the place after the renovations, a big thank you to Lindy and the rest of the staff for being so lovely, we enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back.

this was the worst hotel i have ever been to. They had just started remodeling it i guess old 1970 style, Bad plastic Furniture with a wood table attached to the wall and horrible bed, I tryed to change rooms hoping there was a better on at this hotel but there was not. since it was late and I did sleep their one night but left at 6am to go to the next door Harborside Hotel which was very nice. this hotel was absolutly horable. also the photo's that are on expedia are not at all anything like the rooms? false advertisment.

Needs a major renovation looks old not according to photos on advertisements

The room we received did not match the photo at all. Staff were apologetic but management are obviously doing thsi intentionally, hoping that people don't read reviews and knowing that customers have few other options once they have arrived. Room was not made up when we arrived, when we came back we still did not have adequate bedding for 4 people. The extra bed was jammed in with a door handle right where you would usually place your head. Would not recommend.

We understand the property has just changed hands and we hope it improves. the bed was terrible and they didn’t even supply a blankets. We only had a sheet and 1pillow each. No parking was available on site. The curtains were mouldy. The whole room was nothing like the photos and we should have demanded a refund. Dissapointing to drive for 5 hours and not get what you think you’re getting.

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The hotel appeared to be undergoing renovations, which may explain some of the issues; however, the room I was allocated was very dated and did not meet the standard I expected. There were several maintenance and housekeeping concerns: There was hair left in the shower, indicating the bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly. The bathroom pipe beneath the vanity leaked whenever it was turned on, floor was always wet. All five milk pods provided had curdled. They were not refrigerated, making them unusable. The wooden bedside table top was not securely attached to the drawers and moved when touched, creating a potential safety hazard. To add to the experience, I arrived to check in at 5:00 pm, but my room was still not ready. Overall, the combination of cleanliness, maintenance and service issues made for a disappointing stay. I hope these concerns are addressed as the hotel has the potential to offer a much better guest experience once the renovations are complete.
