The room was beautiful and the hotel is set in a fantastic location. Staff friendly except one waiter at breakfast was quite rude. The area is perfect for exploring the lake and the surrounding fells and countryside. Food very nice also and reasonably priced overall.

Great Hotel with Private Free Parking near to lovely walks and close to Keswick town. Breakfast Great choice and Evening meal lovely too. Stayed in the Lodge which was Private house with two bedrooms, huge lounge with three settees. Huge shower with products. Coffee/tea in each bedroom and in the hall. Small fridge in lounge. Great for friends to join you.

I have been staying here for decades mainly because of its location. It is a truly beautiful property but unfortunately it is in desperate need of a refurbishment. Paint off the walls , worn carpets and generally in need of some TLC. On the positive side at least the people are still really accommodating , professional and friendly. Hopefully the property itself will get an update.

Фантастично Room was fine with what looked like a recently refurbished bathroom. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was beautifully presented and of à high quality. Would definitely stay here again
