Stayed in the family room. Clean room with fresh bedding and towels each day. Enough cupboard space for the 3 night stay we did. But would be limited if doing longer. The fridge in the room was very useful. The room overall is looking tired and in need of a spruce up, however bed was clean and comfy and bathroom fully working. Great base for exploring the city.

We were so disappointed with this place that we left within an hour of arrival, forcing us to incur double the amount of accommodation costs before our trip had even got underway. The hotel was not at all as advertised and the official pictures are very misleading. It is run down and poorly maintained. Not only did the sheets in both our baby's cot and on our bed feel dirty, the cot supplied had a hole in it and looked unsturdy. The flush button on the toilet was broken, there were marks on the walls and floor and the bathroom showed signs of mould. The room also smelled of smoke. The elevator was so tiny you could barely fit one suitcase and one person in it. We are very surprised that Expedia would promote such a poor and unhygienic place to stay. Unfortunately following our experience we saw the most recent Google reviews, one of which described this place as a 'scam'. As a non-refundable booking, that feels like the right description.

Service was good, great room, good room service, great shower facilities

Amazing location. Very hospitable staff. The rooms are great, but starting to feel worn. Recommend a touch-up of paint on the walls and polish floors for brighter feel.

The front office staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in a good location for exploring Paris and a few minutes walk to the Metro. The breakfast is also good. The noise from the street can be quite loud during the night. Overall a good experience!

The Montholon Hotel was a very good choice for our stay in Paris It was an easy walk from the Eurostar Terminal. We had, as requested a double bed in a nice clean and well appointed room with a good view from the windows. Breakfast was simple but adequate, in clean surroundings. What was a very busy main road is now mainly bicycles and so the hotel was quiet and peaceful. All very good!

I felt staying at this hotel gave me value for what I paid. It's very convenient and the front desk staff very friendly and helpful

More like a hostel than a hotel. Room was small and the whole place shook everytime a train went past. Road outside was extremely busy with constant noise. Rooms are far too hot in August and the small fan provided does nothing. Breakfast was poor, small dry pastries on offer not much else.

We contacted property two days ago that we had to cancel due to our daughter being unwell and we didn't want to put other staff or guests at risk. We requested a refund or date change and we were rejected this request. Poor from a massive chain hotel.

Small room for a family of 4. Unfortunately the room didn’t have aircon on a very hot day (admittedly this was my error for not checking) but there was no fan available and we were unable to open the windows overnight, due to the noise and safety (we were only 1 floor up) The room had little storage, a kettle and cups but no coffee. the bathroom was a wet room, which when wet didn’t smell great, there was also a cover over some cables that kept falling open in the bathroom. Overall the room was clean and the beds were fine. Luckily we only stayed for 1 night and we did managed to sleep, despite the noise outside and the rubble metro underneath! Staff were nice and friendly.
