Good breakfast, but no fridge and room is pretty compact

We had a couple of minor issues, but the main problem was that our room, 130, had an intermittent mechanical noise coming from the aircon unit. This went on all night and disturbed our sleep. Breakfast was very expensive at €25 each.

The hotel is situated 5 minutes from the S & U Bahn station Berliner Tor which makes it ideal should you arrive into Hamburg by air. The hotel is very well maintained. The rooms are clean and very modern. There’s a bar on the ground floor and a nice restaurant in the hotel. The staff are very helpful, polite and professional. Highly recommended.

The rooms was very clean and spatious. The staff was very friendly. We liked the option to check-in by yourself. This went easy and was very practical.

Old room and floors.

The hotel itself is good, looks smart and trendy and all that. The lift that was (meant to be) going to my room was broken for the three days I was there, so get another lift on the other side of the hotel and walk through the roof top or with the same lift go up to third floor walk through hotel and walk up one floor. Gym was small but okay if no one else was there. No one bothered to clean my room although I didn't give instructions to skip cleaning. The bathroom fan was hangin to one side on the wall and probably has been like that for quite a while. The surroundings left room for improvement. Dirt, smell, homeless people and some on drugs as you walked towards the hotel. I will definitely not ever return.

Thabknyoy for an excellent hotel to stay at was really useful for city centre access and great room to relax after a long day.

Stayed as a group of 4 ladies for a girly birthday weekend. On arrival the staff upgraded the birthday girls room to a suite. The suite was fantastic, spacious, stylish and comfortable. The area is great for exploring the heart of Hamburg. Overall we had a fabulous stay, my only feedback would be to include tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. In addition to this, a basic cleaning kit for the suite would be great for the washing up dishes etc.

The area surrounding the hotel is not the best one. The pillows provided were a absolutely terrible, they went almost completely flat and looked more like baby's duvet. No fridge or facilities to make coffee in the room. Breakfast at €25 per person is a bit steep.

Very Friendly Staff. Extremely welcoming . Will be back!
