The location is excellent, and I really liked the free coffee and tea station. There is also a spacious seating area where you can charge your phone. My room was clean when I arrived, and the communal showers were also mostly clean. However, during my three-day stay, my room wasn’t cleaned at all, and I didn’t receive any fresh towels despite messaging the property to request some. I also had to contact Expedia because the hotel didn’t send me the access codes needed to enter the building/room. However, as a solo female traveller, I felt safe, and I would stay here again.

The room and shared bathroom were clean but out of soap and paper towels. The shared dining and reception area were not very clean. The plumbing in room sinks makes gurgling sounds when neighboring sinks are in use. We used earplugs to sleep. The location in Old Town is wonderful. We had an enjoyable visit.

I didn’t see any staff it’s all self check in so if there was a kitchen and facilities I would not know. But the location was excellent.

Convenient place, nice enough room but no personal available , free coffee if you’re early in the morning, runs out and nobody there to refill the machine

So this was a fantastic property. It was centrally located to just about everything in Reykjavík. It was more than a hostel, and the private rooms were well worth the price. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Very basic guesthouse. Bed was good. One electrical outlet in the room--had to unplug the lamp to plug in my phone charger. Electronic locks on room doors are a bit fussy--especially ridiculous if you get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night! ALL the door hinges in the place could use a bit of oil--not a huge deal in the off season, but I would get annoyed very quickly by all the noisy/squeaky doors when occupancy is high.
