The hotel was nice but food and drink was expensive the coffee and tea in the room was very underwhelming the cheeps coffee 2 biscuits and 4 small pots of milk but the bottle water was a nice touch

A lovely hotel which takes you on a trip into the past. Pleasant staff on reception and serving at the bar and restaurant. We had a harp player on the first night and on the piano the second which was excellent background when sitting on the covered balcony overlooking the sea. The only issue was the heat in the 5th floor bedroom where a fan was provided but the window did not open far enough to cool the air at night. We were lucky to get parking in the small car park at the rear of the building but this may be an issue for some people. Would love to visit again.

The room was very clean and well serviced the staff were excellent the breakfast was very
good and the balcony good.
The food was not upto our expectations it was quite poor and no change of menue
all week.
We could not get onto the enternet on our fire tablets. We found this was poor as we rely on them for lots of things.

lovely bathroom, bed was comfy, nice to have a separate area for clothes/shoes/suitcase.
Negatives
Room was tired and over looks flat roof to lower level. Extractor on flat roof was noisy, weather very hot but no air con in room so an uncomfortable sleep. A desktop fan was provided but was too noisy to leave on during the night.
Overall staff were very pleasant, breakfast was average, evening meal was good. Bar area was very nice with relaxing live music - piano & harp. Lovely view over the seafront and the Orme.

Excellent place to stay. The food was fantastic. Loved how we could just walk around the area, and still get back to the hotel pretty easily.

The room was lovely and spacious with places to relax. We loved the pool and the spa tub and the gym is well equipped. We ate at the hotel at night and the food was delicious, reasonably priced and service from all the staff was excellent too, we'll be back!

Little niggles around expectation at that price point inc plastic bottled water, Nescafé instant coffee and uht milk - no fridge.
