Great tour!! We booked the 3rd level in a group of 3, I highly recommend. The reviews are 100% right :) This was my first experience caving, so my bad stamina + minor heart issues was a concern (informed the receptionist during briefing, and she reassured me it would be fine). Our guide, Najmi, was very attentive and understanding, stopping for frequent breaks and check-ins. Level 3 was perfect, the first 2 levels are just a lot of stair climbing, but after that you walk through cold, crisp, clean water. Najmi was very calm and reassuring throughout the tour, especially the parts where we slid down rocks and crawled through short tunnels, he handled our fear very well! We LOVED the experience. Transport and food was great! They provided so much snacks and food that we couldn't finish it haha. Showers were clean!! Everyone at Riverbug was so kind, even the receptionist gave us food recommendations <3 What a wonderful experience! I'm so glad I booked with Riverbug. Thanks Najmi!!

a must go itinerary if you are in the area.. the cave exploration allows us to go deep inside to learn more about cave formation, limestones etc. we chosen stage 2 for dry exploration , and you can opt for stage 4 for deeper and wet exploration. a special show out to our guide Awa, she is very friendly, always reminding us to take note of the steps.. and she is very knowledgeable about the cave and can fee her passion/heart for what she is doing.. we had a great time with her being our guide and we definitely enjoy the whole time of exploration and learning. may try stage 4 the next time

Tour guide Mr. Razi was indeed friendly and knowledgeable. Weather was great and luckily only the two of us plus guide so the pace were on time. The tour was quite challenging especially stage 3 and 4. We started stage 1, 2 then proceeded to 4 and u turn to stage 3. The tour is worth money spent. After caving went back to Ulu River Lodge and took our lunch as it was provided. Afterward, we went to the river to relax. Totally recommend.

The cave exploration was one of most adventurous experience. thanks for our tour guide Totti (hope spell the name correctly) for intentionally led us through the most challenging path. he is friendly and share alot of his experience and knowledge about the cave exploration. however, I think the food quality can still be improved. the water pressure for shower facilities too low as well.

Neyo (or Neo) was our tour guide and he was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We travelled through the cave safely with no issues. We learned a lot about the cave system and its features. The food and showers included in the package were a good addition however we had a vegetarian in the group and we were not given a good vegetarian option. Overall a great experience, just need to work on inclusivity.

Would highly recommend. The caves themselves were impressive and varied between huge caverns to low ceilings covered in stalactites, and the running river. The Grand tour was an adventure that involved scrambling, crawling and sliding, and traversing through through the river (getting wet up to chest-height). You needed to be agile and stable on your feet. I would recommend bringing a torch and headlamp, and shoes you don’t mind getting wet and dirty. —The tour took us about 4hrs, but allow extra time for commuting to lunch, showering and eating. We appreciated the shower. The lunch (vegan option) was very filling and delicious. —Our tour guide, Awa, from Riverbug Perak, was amazing. She was very friendly, and insightful about the history and geology of the caves. We felt safe with her. She demonstrated and gave instructions on how to navigate and climb the caves safely. —Terima Kasih!

Stage 4 Cave exploration is a unique adventure for anyone who is fit and looking for something exciting to do. We certainly enjoyed ourselves especially since we were lucky not only to have the guide all to ourselves, but practically the whole cave to ourselves too on a Friday. We paid an additional 70ringgit per person to the tour company (Riverbug Perak) for transportation from and to our hotel in Ipoh. It’s advisable to book at least a week in advance so as to facilitate communication. We bought several items from Decathlon to prepare ourselves for this activity, including aqua hiking shoes, hiking socks, gloves, knee paddings, elbow paddings. Our guide, Awal, is a gem. Amiable and very patient as well as detailed in her instructions.

とてもおすすめです！ステージ1から4まで一度に進むので合計4時間かかりますが、日本ではできない経験です。最初にステージ2まで、洞窟の階段を1000段上って行きます。ところどころ石の種類や石の模様が「○◯に見える」クイズなどもしながら、ゆっくりと進みます。こんな暗い洞窟なのに、照明器具の光で草が生えていたのには驚きました。ステージ2を終えると鍵のかかっている階段を降りて、ヘッドライトをつけ（5RMでレンタル可）いざ岩の上を歩く冒険の始まりです。遠くにひびく水音を感じながら砂利道や砂の道、岩の間を抜けていきます。大きな岩が道を塞いでいるところは、その下の隙間をほふく前進で一人ずつ進み、半分水につかりながら四つん這いで進んだり、水が深い場所では流れに押されるように低い姿勢で進んだり、ガイドさんに助けてもらいながら、冒険をしていきます。借りたヘッドライトの明かりがたまに切れるため不安になりましたが、6人チームで進んだので他の人の足取りを見ながら進みました。一度進むとすぐには地上に出られないため、子どもでもある程度の脚力と我慢強さ（それと冒険を楽しむ心！）は必要です。洞窟の中にも落書きとゴミがあったのは残念でした。これはマレーシア全体で言えることで、改善していったほうがよいと思います。ツアー終了後のランチは本当に美味しかったです。このRIVERBUGさんたちの料理は日本人にも合う美味しい味付けで嬉しいです。

YOU WON'T REGRET BOOKIG THIS TRIP! We had the kindest and most polite tour guide Bob who took my husband and I and our 9 year old daughter through the caves ALL stages! it was absolutely exhilarating, exciting, wonderous and magical! There were parts we had to stop and Bob was great at keeping my daughter engaged! I still can't believe we did this! Bob was super knowledgeable, kept the pace going and kept us motivated and safe. Huge thanks Bob and Riverbug for memories we will treasure for a lifetime! Also the lunch provided by the river at the lodge was such a special touch and was so much appreciated!

椰殼洞真的很值得一去 stage 1.2 只買門票就能進到裡面多壯觀 stage3.4需要導遊走水路 彷彿在異型的身體裡走 又蹲又爬又跪的 要穿長袖長褲 鞋子/涼鞋 雖然前端走時稍熱 但後面水路會磨地面石子 不適合長輩 要身體很軟Q的才行呀！！ 集合地點離怡保30分鐘 來回各花25-29RMY 最後附餐還特地繞到當地旅行社 吃了很簡漏 兩顆雞蛋+醬油炒麵（根本浪費我時間~） 算是非常美中不足 可以不供餐 or 提供好一點的餐
