The Audio guide is a MUST! It was an unforgettable experience when I visited the museum. During the visit, there was this poignant feeling while listening to the audio guide from every exhibit inside.

Es un museo impresionante y muy fuerte, cuenta con muchas fotos sin censura, ropa real, objetos, paredes e incluso dibujos realizados por las víctimas en donde se puede apreciar como fue para ellos, tienen entrevistas grabadas de los supervivientes y también hay pláticas con los descendientes de los mismos, solo hay una en inglés y creo que es a la 1:00 pm para que vayan con tiempo si es que la quieren ver, nosotras llegamos un poco tarde y aún así nos dejaron pasar jejeje y creo que hay audio guías gratis en la entrada. Lo recomiendo 1000/100, sales muy reflexiva e impresionada por lo rápido que se recuperó la ciudad y la resiliencia de las personas, el haber estado 3 días en Hiroshima y el último día ir al museo fue muy impresionante pues no pareciera que ahí pasó una tragedia sin igual.

The museum is well laid out Black and white are grouped together with colorful artwork, depicting the horrific events of August 1945 and the month after. The free tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate, although quite soft spoken at times is hard to hear as we walked through the grounds visiting different monuments throughout the park the message here is that way the world never let this happen again

This is worth the trip. We took the morning train from Osaka and spent the day here. The history, the exhibits and the park are worth the visit. Note that there are lots of school children that are accompanied by teachers to discuss this very difficult topic so it can get a little crowded. If you’re bringing children be prepared for explicit and heartbreaking imagery and very serious conversations.

I booked my ticket to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial on the spot, right outside the entrance. It has dark rooms with bright corridoors, creating a dramatic contrast. Seeing the Dome right after walking through exhibition space gave me chills. The whole park is thoughtfully laid out. Every monument there felt meaningful. It really made me stop and think. If you’re in Hiroshima, you’ve got to see this place.

A place for reflection, atrocities and Hiroshima's reconstruction. The stories are poignant and very violent. Shortly after the entrance there is a dark room showing a short video of August 6, 1945 at 0815 how it all went down.

Very special place to visit, especially seeing people in pain and items afterward atomic blast. Will never forget faces in pain, ruins and people tragedy

Amazing tribute to those who suffered from the bomb attack! Very emotional......took very few pictures....origami cranes have taken on a new meaning for me!

l'esperienza del bombardamento di Hiroshima (e Nagasaki) colpisce per la sua indiscriminata efferatezza e per gli effetti duraturi che si sono ripercossi sulla popolazione anche durante gli anni successivi a quella mattina di agosto del 1945. Passare attraverso le sale della mostra è un'esperienza terribile: vedere la città di Hiroshima prima e dopo la devastante folgorazione causata dall'ordigno atomico è agghiacciante e non può lasciare indifferenti. Qualcuno potrebbe dire che visitare un campo di concentramento sia più pesante, ma non è questo il punto: qui siamo dinnanzi a una delle espressioni più truci e crudeli di ciò che l'essere umano può fare nei confronti dei suoi simili.

it's a very educational experience inspiring deep conversations about long lasting peace and international relations
