Sail across to Macau

Home to glitzy casinos, great food and historical remnants of its colonial past, it’s no wonder Macau is a popular holiday destination! The best part? It’s just a ferry ride away from Hong Kong.

There are two main Macau ferry operators from Hong Kong – TurboJet and CotaiJet. In this article we break down the nitty gritties of ferry travel so all you need to do is prepare to enjoy your next holiday in Macau!

Choosing between TurboJet and CotaiJet depends on where you are heading to in Macau!

If you’re visiting Macau for the first time, we recommend TurboJet as it docks at Macau’s Outer Harbor Ferry Terminal within close proximity to the city center. Major attractions like Macau Tower, Senado Square and the Ruins of St Paul’s are also found on this side of Macau.

If you’re heading to the latest casinos and hotels like The Venetian, Hard Rock Cafe and the Parisian Macao (Eiffel Tower Hotel), take CotaiJet. The ferry docks at Taipa Ferry Terminal, just 5 minutes away from the City of Dreams!

TurboJet

TurboJet Macau ferry shuttles between Sheung Wan Ferry Terminal in Hong Kong and Macau Outer Harbor Ferry Terminal daily. Ferries run every 15 minutes from 7am to 12am. Although not as frequent, TurboJet also runs late night ferry services in both directions.
