It was an amazing experience to be in the cruise overlooking the city but food is horrible. Not quite to our liking. The chicken and prawn are not fresh but the cruise was clean. We are just paying for the experience and to have the view of the city in the night.
We boarded at 8:15pm and departed in about 30 minutes. The meal consisted of three dishes: appetizer, main course, and dessert, and we could choose from three main courses and desserts. The main course, beef, cost an additional 15 euros, but it was medium rare and very delicious. After the meal, we paid with a credit card along with the cost of the drinks. There was a paid service to take photos, but I didn't use it so I don't know the cost. From the back of the ship, we could climb up to the roof at any time and enjoy the view. Also, about 5 minutes after we disembarked, it was the time for the champagne flash, so we were able to take photos from the bridge.
We started boarding the ship at 8:15 and set sail at 8:45. The voyage ended at almost 11 o'clock. You can go upstairs to the deck to take pictures while dining. There were not many guests that day, so they all arranged to sit by the window. At the beginning, the boat headed south and turned around near the 7th University. On the return trip, it would pass by the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty before returning to the pier.
The dinner was not bad in the evaluation, maybe because the presentation was not beautiful enough. The small baguette that came with it was delicious. There were three dishes for dinner, and the first appetizer (there were three kinds; the salad was amazingly seasoned, and the duck breast was very large) ), the main course is large in portion and tastes good. I was so full from the previous meal that I couldn’t eat the dessert.
The meals on the ship are classic three-course Western meals, including appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. There are three main dishes and desserts to choose from. The scenery on the cruise is great, and you can even see the Eiffel Tower shining brightly on the hour!
Overall a great experience! Food was okay and staff was friendly. Points to note: 1. Do go up to the deck for the great view anytime! 2. Check the sunset time before booking if you look for the night view. 3. No tap water is provided, meaning extra pennies for drinks. 4. The cruise ends quite late at around 2330.
It was an evening flight, but it was comfortable. The food wasn't the best, but the atmosphere made it passable. However, the QR code issued by KLOOK at the time of boarding was not accepted, and I had to check my name and other details at the reception desk and confirm my reservation before boarding. I had made a reservation, so it was fine, but I was a little worried while waiting.
Loved the Cruise, but service was random. "Is our table by the toilied because we are Asians?" "Yes, you maybe right, sir" Was not sure if I should write a review, but me and my wife had a good laugh, so hope you too. After arrival and boarding on the ship, we were assigned the very last table in the room by window, near a toilet and 3 or 4 stacks of chairs write next to us. So I could not figure it out, where to sit my wife, with a view on the toilet or next to stacks of chairs. So I asked waitress (1) to move us anywhere or at least move chairs. She said, we will fix this. 5 minutes later nothing happened. So I went to next waiter (2) and asked him to move us, he (2) said we will deal with this, no worries sir. 5 minutes later nothing happened. Ferry started taking off and they started taking orders. I told waiter (2) that we can pay, but please just move us, as all people going to the toilet, it is not a good place for dinner, and if you take order now, it will be hard for you to manage later. I asked is it because we are Asians, that's why we were placed here, and the response was, yes, you maybe right sir :OOO. My wife had to come me down and went to find manager. Another waiter (3) told her, you can find him there, but HE IS VERY BUSY. So she found him and he immediately told her to take any available table :D So we moved, and told our waiter (2) that we moved. Other people took our place, glad there are people who do not mind and could enjoy our table. When food arrived, the same waiter (2) said, you moved, how can I deal with it now? And I had to tell him that 5 minutes ago I told him that it will be hard to mange after taking orders, and it his job to resolve it, and not going around asking customers. That was the last nonsense. Guess that was culture shock, to get promissed something that gets forgotten or neglected on the spot. Everything else was beautiful. Food was good.
A wonderful course meal was prepared with a beautiful night view of the Celine side. The time and quantity for dessert was just right, and the boat even passed right next to the Eiffel Tower. When we arrived, it was time for the champagne tower, so we were able to see it right after getting off.
The food was okay 😅 Maybe it’s because I’m not used to it, but the scenery is beautiful. You can see the main attractions of the city in 2 hours
