Durian High Tea by Golden Moments

Order Durian swirl, it is supposed to serve MSW and black thorn, but only has red prawn and MSW. Better to ask before ordering. MSW taste good. The quality is good.

There were only two of us, so we chose to come here to eat durian because there was a "Golden Vortex" set meal that allowed us to try different varieties of durian. When we excitedly chose this set meal, we also discussed with the store clerk whether we could try different types of durian. The answer was yes. But when the meal was served, the waiter brought out a black thorn durian, and then placed the durians one by one on a golden rack, saying that because it was the off-season, this was the only kind of durian available, and the black thorn was more expensive, so we made a profit. We were surprised, but the durian had already been opened, so we continued eating. Our main focus was to try different durians so this experience was not a good one.

the staff there was friendly and surprised my friend with bday cake, environment quite nice, we had our meal and chit chat until the evening (many hrs) no restriction can stay how long. we really enjoyed our day there. durian is yummy, just skip the fries, it's abit salty like what others said.

went on a Friday afternoon, place was not crowded. The service was good, staff were friendly. food was good too. overall experience is good. worth the money!

Booked for the fresh durian tasting experience for 15 Sept 2024. Waited very long to be acknowledged by staff as there was only 1 staff on that day. We were told to sit anywhere in the shop after we showed the staff the klook booking we had. We then waited for at least another 10 mins to be brought to another seat at the back for the fresh durian tasting experience. However, after 10 more minutes, we were informed by the staff that the fresh durian tasting experience had been cancelled and we would have received a cancellation and email for refund. Such email was not received, instead I received a reminder email of the event that morning. Staff explained that durian season is over and the activity was not possible. Staff said that I will be refunded but till date, no one reached out and no refund has been provided. Absolutely disappointing

After listening to an explanation about durian and learning how to cut it, I realized how difficult it is to actually cut it myself. The thorns on the durian hurt, so be careful. The durian was very delicious. I thought it was a good deal for the price to eat so many different things.

I had an enjoyable afternoon with my family at this durian tasting experience. For 2 hours, we learnt how to differentiate the various types of durians, how to look out for fresh durians and even how to pick good ones. There were some games to add on to the fun tasting session and at the end of it, we got a cute certificate for being a durian connoisseur. The ambience was nice and we ate so much durians that we didn't have to eat dinner. Definitely a great way to spend the weekends with the family.

Wow and amazing. For sure entertaining and fun and learning / eat durians at the same time. Very recommended.
