Reviews
Booking was easy and straightforward. The driver, Mr Weeradesh was a down-to-earth man who provided a great service. He drove carefully and was very flexible with our itinerary change. He kept assuming us to enjoy ourselves and don't worry. Tho' he spoke some English and Mandarin, he made up by using Google translate 😁 Some drivers charge extra to go Verona Tublan but he didn't. Try to ask for his service if you can. We stayed a night in the Hobbit House. The room was a little run down, no-frill but a great experience. It has a huge selection of costumes that you can change to your heart delight to take pictures. Best of all, there was hardly anyone else around because we had stayed overnight. Plan your schedule carefully. Most of Verona attractions were closed on Monday. The weather was only cold in the morning. Otherwise, it was hot, especially the afternoon sun.
Our driver Anon is reliable and punctual from airport pick-up, daily sightseeings for 2 days till drop off at our Bangkok Hotel. Khao Yai is a peaceful place to visit ~ lunch at Chocolate Factory was delicious, and Hokkaido Park is a must-see place ~ beautiful ! Midwinter restaurant has a magical feel. Kids will love Prima Piazza with its animal farm and Baan Suan Noi with cute Hobbit accommodation and Magical castle. Our PB Valley Wine tour was interesting and the Thai lunch included in the ticket price, was very good too.
Initially felt that the price was quite high but overall thought it was worth! Do send TTD Global your itinerary early and they would advise if there are any surcharges (e.g if you add some places in areas of Bangkok, need to add $). This also help them to relay the info to the driver. Our driver, Phoo, although cannot really speak English, we managed 3 days smooth journey. He was always prompt and waiting for us. The vehicle he uses makes us feel like VVIP! Spacious and clean. If you have last minute requests or changes (e.g quick stop at 7-eleven etc) they are very accommodating. For a group of 4 adults and 2 children, I thought engaging this transport was the best choice for us! Some comments on the attractions visited - feel that Khao Yai really charges tourists quite high price to visit. I thought that Farm Chokchai was worth visiting (feeding of sheep, taking photos with animals and flowers. it was early Nov and there were sunflowers though they were facing down haha). It felt like a combination of Hokkaido flower park and Primo Piazza. But... Hokkaido flower park cafe did have some nice drinks and sweets to offer. I thought Primo Piazza was abit meh - mainly to take photos (but abit forced), some of the animals did not really want to be fed anymore and the small stable had a very strong smell. Khao Yai National park fees was quite expensive 400 baht (locals only 40 baht), so would only recommend if you are into hiking and exploring nature. Was not lucky enough to see animals other than monkeys. Ban Tha Chang spring was abit disappointing- not actual changing or washing facilities. There were also toooo many mosquitoes. It is a little dangerous as some of the rocks are sharp. Also visited yellow submarine (coffee really quite good), the chocolate factory (to me not much offerings if you are not dining there or buying chocolate souvenirs), Penlaos (interesting dishes...) and Pak Chong night market (manageable visit compared to a busy market like Chatuchak).
Since I was traveling solo, I requested a female driver. The journey from Bangkok takes about 3 hours, and the itinerary can be discussed directly with the driver. You can stay as long as you like. You need to book your hotel in advance. I recommend BP Valley Winery, Hokkaido Flower Farm, the Wind Turbine Power Plant, and Primo Piazza. If you have young children, you should go to the Chokchai Farm and Hobbit House. Admission tickets and meals are at your own expense, but you can ask the driver to take you to where you want to eat. On the first day, you can also book a BP Winery tour and have lunch there.
Driver, Mr Pai was very experienced. He obliged willingly our request to tweak our itinerary.Primo Piazza, Hokkaido Flower farm & Toscano Valley was beautiful & very instragrammable.Had lunch at Meatlover Halal restaurant.A bit pricey but food & drinks did not dissappoint.May return to Khao Yai to spend two or three nights in future. Late December was a little warm.Perhaps late Nov early or Dec would be nicer n cooler. Would have been excellent if Khao yai was nearer to Bangkok.3hr ride to & 3hr ride back was a bit much. But overall it was a fullfilling fun day at Khao Yai away from chaotic Bangkok city.
Driver came on time to fetch us. informed us that panorama farm is closed and we changed to Lago di which is a beautiful place to take photos. PB valley is a must go to take a look at the vinery and its process. join the vinery tour, it’s interesting. only the mango farm is quite boring, it’s a cafe with mango sticky rice and mango produce. we left bkk at 7am, and reached bkk at 6pm. Khao Yai’s weather and its sights are really quite little Europe feel.
I was assigned a driver named Mr. Komsan, whose kindness and fluency in English made communication easier. From the breathtaking blooms of Hokkaido Flower Park to the quaint charm of Primo Piazza and the serene beauty of Florida Khaoyai, each destination painted a vivid portrait of Khao Yai's allure. Khao Yai is a must-visit destination, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. If I find myself in Khao Yai again, I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.
we had a beautiful weather during our day trip there. The driver was very friendly and nice, he spoke very little English changed our itinerary for us by taking us to PB winery first, sadly the winery tour was full so we couldn’t join so we explored it ourselves for a bit. it was early so hardly any tourists around, which was nice. Second stop was Primo Piazza, which I think can be skipped as it’s a lot smaller than I thought and most building are empty and mostly for staffs. For the third stop instead of taking us to the orginal route (Khao Yai Panorama Farm), he took us to Hokkaido Flower Park. luckily majority of the flowers are still blooming, some already starting to dry up. it was pretty esp if you rented the kimono to take pictures there. he then took us to the Chocolate Factory for a quick stop, they have big selection of goodies here. last stop is the Khao Yai Mango House Farm where I truly love. the sticky rice and pudding were very yummy. the whole building, furnitures are made from wood and uniquely designed. the view was really good for relaxing. overall I recommend going for this trip if you love taking pictures. for food, probably better to explore yourself by renting a car. the only thing we did not enjoy is the actual car ride because our driver drove very fast and the car was very shaky, im not sure why, and we almost felt sick on the way back.
It was a great experience for us. The driver, faree accommodated to all the places we had requested to visit. we managed to squeeze a 4 days itinerary into 3 days. Mostly because we don’t stay at one attraction that long. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a driver suited to your timing. Will definitely book this package again on the next trip to Khao yai.
This arrangement was seamless and highly enjoyable! ✨ The car provided was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Our driver was punctual and impressively skilled, driving with speed and precision that made us feel like we were racing 🏎️yet always safe and in control. He was also incredibly kind, even helping us take photos! The only downside was the language barrier, as he didn’t speak much English, but it was clear he wanted to share insights with us. He made effort by a translator app. For those planning a trip to Khao Yai, I recommend preparing your itinerary carefully. Some locations in this arrangement were quite far apart, which can take up a lot of travel time. So we tweaked and omitted some locations. Ideally, aim for spots within 20-40 minutes of each other unless you’re staying for several days. I wish we had more time in Khao Yai, it’s such a beautiful place! The weather, the view, and the peaceful atmosphere were perfect, offering a stark contrast to the busy city. The architecture in Khao Yai is breathtaking, it truly feels like a slice of Europe in Thailand! I highly recommend choosing this private tour for the flexibility it offers. You can manage your own schedule, the driver is excellent, and the car is very comfortable. Overall, an amazing experience! ✨💐💖
