Reviews
The tour guide will help you buy tickets on the spot. Unfortunately, you can’t go up to the top of the tower today (maybe because of the large number of people). Although you still have to wait in line to buy tickets and go through security, the tour guide will continue to introduce the history and stories of the tower during the process, and will also interact with participating tourists. We happened to attend the 15:30 pm session, and when we climbed to the second floor, we were about to watch the sunset. We saw the sunset all the way from the afternoon during the day to the night view, which was a great time. After boarding the first floor, you can continue to follow the tour guide and listen to his introduction, or you can rush directly to the second floor (in order to catch the sunset view, we left the group and left the tour guide on the first floor). Basically, you will be there after the tour guide’s introduction on the second floor. Let people move freely. Although the itinerary we booked included tickets to go to the top of the tower, unfortunately we couldn’t go up today. The tour guide would provide us with a QR code to apply for a refund for not going to the top of the tower. Recommend this itinerary!
There are 704 steps in total to go up to the second floor from the ground, which requires a little physical strength. Remember to book a trip to the summit. People will regret it if they don’t even spend a little money to go up! There is an elevator from the second floor to the top of the tower. When I booked the trip, the price of the package with and without the cruise was the same, so I took the additional cruise. The cruise ticket is sent to you by email. After you finish walking the Eiffel Tower, you can go to the pier and upload the ticket directly in the email. The cruise ticket is valid for one year. If you are not free on the same day, you can go there after two days. .
Best to go with a guide as you'll get to learn so much more about the Iron Lady. Best to arrive 1hr early as you'll never know which path might get blocked due to the Olympics.
Muhammad was a brilliant guide. Gave us lots of insight into the tower. was friendly and patient really went out of his way to assist. The river cruise I highly recommend absolutely fantastic however don’t forget the additional ticket from the guide at the tower
The Chinese-speaking tour guide did not show up that day. Fortunately, there was an English-speaking tour guide on site, and he followed us to complete the entire trip! What's even more special is that when I visited the souvenir shop, staff suddenly appeared and drove everyone out. Later, when I came out, I found that there was an emergency broadcast, and the whole place was cleared except for the staff! All I can say is that luckily the visit has been completed!
we are happy to join this tour, especially have our guide Melanin who is so cheerful and professional in explaining Eiffel Tower history, greeting everyone,…etc! But The only disappointed thing is a long queuing time, I literally expected we could skip the line for the price we pay, hope this will improve when I come beer next time!
Generally, there are two entrances for tourists to enter the Eiffel Tower, one on the northeast and one on the southwest. The tour guide will be waiting at the southwest entrance, wearing an orange hat and an orange flag on his backpack, making him easily identifiable at a glance. After checking in, you will be assigned to different tour guides, who will then lead the entire entry process. It was 1pm on Christmas Day and there were not too many tourists. It took about 15 minutes to queue and then start climbing the stairs. When we got to the first floor, the tour guide also introduced the people and things about Paris and the Eiffel Tower very responsibly. Thank you tour guide Lenna! After the first floor, we continued our itinerary. We continued to climb the stairs to the second floor, then took the 𨋢 to the top floor and waited here. 𨋢It takes longer. It’s super windy on the top floor, so be prepared for the cold! As an aside, I originally planned to take the RER C line near Notre Dame that day to go to the Eiffel Tower. Unexpectedly, after entering the gate, I found that the RER C line only had a bus more than 20 minutes apart! ! ! Because I was afraid of being late, I had to leave the gate immediately and take a taxi. The discount was 13 euros, which was not too expensive. Fortunately, there was no traffic jam. I finally arrived on time, allowing me to continue participating in this long-awaited trip!
The whole experience is great, especially the tour guide named Sagar. Very impressed of his funny and interactive way to share the history of Eiffel Tower.
A very recommended itinerary. We purchased tickets to go up to the top and take the boat. Although it encountered problems with the temporary closure of the second floor leading to the top floor, the company quickly processed the refund online. The tour guide was very lively and interesting in explaining the history of the Tower, allowing foreigners to quickly integrate into and realize the greatness of the Tower.
The description of the meeting place is a bit unclear. The text says it is the South Security Entrance, but the Eiffel Tower is actually marked as entrances 1 and 2. In the end, you have to ask yourself to know where to meet. According to the instructions, you should arrive 30 minutes early, but actually you can't find the staff if you arrive 30 minutes early. Instead, it is better to arrive on time at the scheduled time. But during the actual visit, the local tour guide's guidance and explanations were great. They were very detailed from the history of the tower, environmental introduction, and some related anecdotes. It really makes people fascinated by this beautiful classic building.
